    Production Manager - Garri and Groundnut Production

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and direct our garri and groundnut production operations.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling production processes to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the daily operations of garri and groundnut production units and ensuring efficient production process.
    • Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demands.
    • Plan and prioritize production orders, ensuring timely delivery.
    • Ensure quality control measures are in place, meeting customer specifications and industry standards.
    • Supervise and manage production staff, fostering a culture of excellence and safety.
    • Manage operational budgets, estimate costs, and optimize resource allocation.
    • Implement and maintain health and safety procedures, adhering to regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee inventory management, minimizing waste and optimizing stock levels.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food production management. (preferably in Garri and groundnut production)
    • Proven leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent organizational communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in production.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards (e.g. FMC, ISO) would be an added advantage.
    • Proficient in production planning software and inventory management systems.

    Pharmacologist

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a knowledgeable Pharmacologist to join our retail pharmacy team.
    • The ideal candidate will focus on ensuring the safety and efficacy of medications, providing expert guidance on drug use, and supporting optimal pharmaceutical care in a retail pharmacy environment.
    • This role also involves assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications and managing the shop floor.

    Job Functions / Responsibilities

    • Assess the effects of medications and their interactions on patients.
    • Offer expert advice on medication use, interactions, and potential side effects to pharmacy staff and customers.
    • Provide personalized recommendations and adjustments to medication therapies based on patient needs.
    • Ensure that all medications meet regulatory standards and quality assurance requirements.
    • Assist pharmacists with the dispensing of medications and ensure accurate preparation.
    • Manage the shop floor, including inventory management and ensuring a clean and organized environment.
    • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by addressing customer inquiries and providing helpful information.
    • Foster a positive experience for customers and handle any concerns or issues professionally.

    Requirements / Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacology, or a related field.
    • At least 1 year of experience in pharmacology or a related role in a retail pharmacy setting.
    • In-depth knowledge of drug interactions, safety, and pharmaceutical care.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage the shop floor effectively and provide excellent customer service.
