    Senior Medical Officer

    About the Role

    • We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Medical Officer (SMO) to provide supervisory and report authorization services for our specialist care line, LifeCheck.
    • This crucial position involves authorizing the release of various complex medical screenings (including pre-employment, periodic, and offshore assessments like OGUK).
    • The ideal candidate combines strong clinical acumen with exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills to ensure operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary Medical Assessment Report Authorizer for assigned LifeCheck centers (including Ikeja) and the Project Unit.
    • Provide and supervise Occupational Health services, always adhering to industry standards and best practices.
    • Generate, review, and finalize complex medical reports and certificates for corporate and individual clients.
    • Support continuous improvement in clinical operations, including streamlining processes to enhance efficiency.
    • Act in a professional advisory capacity to Occupational Health and clinical staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
    • Manage and mentor junior medical staff, and ensure strict adherence to confidentiality and ethics.

    Key Metrics

    • Timeliness and accuracy of report authorization.
    • Audit performance and adherence to occupational health standards.
    • Effective management and development of clinical teams.

    Requirements

    • MBBS/MBChB or equivalent medical degree.
    • Full registration and licensing with the relevant Medical & Dental Council.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role, preferably in Occupational Health or Diagnostics.
    • Proven capacity for authorizing complex medical reports (e.g., OGUK, offshore medicals).
    • Exceptional leadership, emotional intelligence, and well-developed problem-solving skills.

    Radiographer

    About the Role

    • We are looking for a skilled and quality-focused Radiographer to join our Diagnostics/LifeCheck team.
    • This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety through strict radiation standards, and delivering diagnostic results with speed and accuracy.
    • The successful candidate will play a vital role in positive patient engagement throughout their imaging procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate various diagnostic imaging equipment, including ultrasound and X-ray machines.
    • Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure clear, empathetic interaction.
    • Analyze images and provide preliminary observations for medical interpretation.
    • Strictly maintain equipment and ensure adherence to all established radiation safety standards and relevant professional standards.
    • Provide essential general support to patients and collaborate effectively with all LifeCheck center staff.

    Key Metrics

    • Turnaround Time (TAT) for test results (Target: <24 hours for routine tests).
    • Error rate in sample analysis (Target: <1%).
    • Minimal equipment downtime (Target: <5% of operational hours).

    Requirements

    • Degree in Radiography or equivalent professional qualification.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
    • Deep knowledge of relevant professional standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent communication, technical proficiency, and customer service skills are mandatory.
