    Quantity Surveyor

    Job Summary: 

    • The Quantity Surveyor (QS) is responsible for managing all costs related to building and construction projects, from initial calculations to final figures. 
    • The QS ensures that projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality standards and compliance with contractual requirements. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ). 
    • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for projects. 
    • Monitor project costs and ensure financial efficiency throughout the project  lifecycle. 
    • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. 
    • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers. 
    • Track project progress and prepare periodic financial reports. 
    • Assess and certify contractor’s interim and final payment claims. 
    • Manage variations, claims, and cost adjustments. 
    • Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and company standards. 
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders. 

    Qualifications & Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. 
    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role. 
    • Professional certification (e.g., NIQS, RICS) is an added advantage. 
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes and cost management. 
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software. 
    • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

    • Combination of office and site work.
