The Senior Technical Advisor: HIV Prevention, Care and Support will be MSH ProACT leading technical expert in the area of prevention of sexual transmission of HIV, OVC, care and support working in close collaboration with other MSH ProACT project team members. He/she will be responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction, relevance, coverage and quality of the portfolio for prevention of sexual transmission of HIV, OVC, Care and support and for the design, implementation and evaluation of related prevention, OVC, care and support activities implemented by MSH ProACT project. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring the coherence and coordination of MSH’s prevention, OVC , care and support services in a manner that strengthens linkage and synergy between community-based and clinical facility-based services; in partnership with the state government, other implementing partners and the community itself.
Working under the supervision of the Senior Clinical Advisor, the HIV Quality Improvement (QI) Officer will provide leadership for the implementation of HIV quality of care improvement activities under the ProACT project in Nigeria. In addition he/she will be responsible for the planning, coordination and providing overall strategic direction for the roll out of QI initiatives of the ProACT project as well as providing strong leadership to a multidisciplinary team of clinicians working in supported health facilities.
The Pediatric Advisor will provide technical leadership and support in the planning and implementation of pediatric HIV services under the MSH ProACT project in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. He/she will supervise field based clinical teams and will report to the Deputy Project Director. In addition he/she will be responsible for the planning, coordination and providing overall strategic direction for the Pediatric HIV Care and Treatment programming as well as providing strong leadership to a multidisciplinary team of clinicians working in supported health facilities.
The Clinical Advisor – PMTCT/MNCH will provide technical support in the planning and implementation of integrated PMTCT/FP/MNCH services under the MSH ProACT project in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. He/she will supervise field based clinical teams and will report to the Deputy Project Director. In addition he/she will be responsible for the planning, coordination and providing overall strategic direction for PMTCT/MNCH programming as well as providing strong leadership to a multidisciplinary team of clinicians working in supported health facilities.
The Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor (HMIS), under the supervision of Associate Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, will provide HMIS technical assistance and coordination for the implementation of strategic information activities. These include, providing technical documentation of data, ensure data quality assurance and best practices in health information systems.
The HR Assistant will assist the Associate Director, Human Resources Management with interviews and hiring actions, ensuring completion of employee’s documentation and administration, complete administrative tasks related to all aspects of HR sections. She/he will be required to assist in preparing job advertisement and general correspondence, arrange and coordinate logistics support for selection and interview process and maintain personnel files. The HR assistant will service as the liaison between the state office and head office for HR related activities. He/she will perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Associate Director HRM.
Under the supervision of the State Team Leader the SPO/HSS Specialist will provides program management support and coordination in planning, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of assigned project activities at state level. S/he will work with the State Team Leader and other thematic Areas Specialist to provide support to and coordinate assigned MSH Nigeria ProACT project activities at district offices in the state in accordance with the MSH and donor guidelines and regulations.
S/he will assist in strengthening systems of reporting on program progress against stated objectives and provides information in setting the broad parameters for HSS initiatives as HSS activities are implemented. Document plans for HSS activities and communicate these plans using approved channels and prepare progress and other written reports on HSS activities. This position will be located in SACA Secretariat/SMoH and provide day to day direct technical support to SACA and SMOH in ProACT project states.
