    Head of Deposit Mobilization and Agency Banking

    Job Summary

    • The Head of Deposit Mobilization and Agency Banking plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of deposit accounts and expanding the reach of agency banking services for Ibile Microfinance Bank Limited.
    • This strategic leadership position involves developing and implementing effective strategies to attract and retain depositors, as well as overseeing the expansion of agency banking partnerships to enhance financial inclusion and accessibility.

    Key Responsibilities
    Deposit Mobilization Strategy:

    • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to attract and mobilize deposits.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for deposit growth.

    Product Development:

    • Collaborate with product development teams to introduce innovative deposit products and services.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for deposit products.

    Agency Banking Expansion:

    • Identify and onboard new agency banking partners to expand the network.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing agency partners.

    Training and Support:

    • Provide training and support to agency partners to ensure effective service delivery.
    • Implement performance metrics and incentives to drive agency banking performance.

    Customer Engagement:

    • Develop and implement customer engagement programs to enhance loyalty and retention.
    • Gather feedback from depositors and agency partners for continuous improvement.

    Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for deposit mobilization and agency banking.
    • Implement risk management practices to safeguard deposits and mitigate operational risks.

    Reporting and Analytics:

    • Generate regular reports on deposit mobilization and agency banking performance.
    • Conduct data analysis to derive insights and inform strategic decisions.

    Collaboration with Marketing:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns to promote deposit products and agency banking services.
    • Represent the organization in community outreach programs to enhance brand visibility.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree/MBA is a plus.
    • Proven experience in deposit mobilization, agency banking, or related roles within the financial services sector.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to deposit products and agency banking.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective strategies.

    SME Loan Officer

    Job Objective

    • To market IBILE MFB’s products with the objective of meeting financial targets while ensuring that customers’ needs are met.

    Job Description

    • To aggressively market and sell the Bank’s loan and deposit products
    • Recruit new loan and deposit customers for the Bank
    • Ensure the retention of existing customers
    • Ensure the creation of quality loan disbursement for the Bank
    • Deposit liability mobilization
    • Drive the reactivation of inactive and dormant accounts
    • Ensure the Bank’s projection and visibility amongst new and existing customers
    • Facilitate and ensure set targets are met in line with marketing strategy
    • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational activities
    • Perform other tasks as assigned by Team Lead

    Qualifications

    • HND or B.Sc in Marketing or related discipline.
    • Minimum of 2 years and more relevant work experience in as a Relationship Officer/SME Loan Officer in theMicrofinance Banking sub-sector.

    Risk Management Officer

    Job Objective

    • To ensure that all staff, particularly operations staff diligently comply with the operational risk guidelines, policies, and procedures to mitigate the bank’s risk exposure.
    • This is largely achieved as they coordinate the activities of the regional monitoring teams.

    Job Description

    • Evaluate customers' loan applications in line with the bank's credit policy.
    • Identify critical risks in credit requests and provide advice on how requests canbe restructured in line with the bank’s risk appetite.
    • Has relevant experience in analyzing consumer and SME loans.
    • Organization of credit committee.
    • Portfolio management & reporting.
    • Create innovative credit evaluation processes and systems.
    • Evaluate clients for creditworthiness based on our internal risk models & their application information.
    • Weed out fraudulent applications, and unreliable applicants.
    • Check Facility Letters and Loan Agreements and scrutinize the signed documents to ensure the correctness of the contracts.
    • Continuously ensure alignment/compliance with the credit risk management framework.
    • Continuously analyze and recommend improvement on credit risk management framework, processes, and systems.
