    Account Clerk

    Job Description

    • Must be computer literate
    • Daily confirmation of transactions and Reconciliation of bank statements
    • provide assistance for the Preparing of monthly financial reports
    • Balancing financial entries
    • Maintaining confidentiality
    • Proper Book-keeping skill
    • Efficiency in posting records with little or no error
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Requirements

    • A Degree holder.
    • 1 - 4 years prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting or related field.
    • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel .
    • Must reside in OGIDI and its environs.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Preferable female between 22- 35 years of age.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Goal oriented mindset and fast delivery on tasks.

    Stock Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Record and keep accurate information on stock
    • Overseeing daily/weekly/monthly stock-taking
    • Update the stock book
    • Prompt distribution of products to branches and outlets as requested.
    • Ensure there is no damage to products arising from personal handling.
    • Provide stock reports as and at when needed
    • Ensure periodic stock-taking and submission of the stock reconciliation report
    • Safeguard the store
    • Monitoring of sales of products through the branch stock report before releasing products
    • Ensure adequate stock of products and materials to avoid stockouts.
    • Ensure products are picked up for delivery to branches as at when due.
    • Training - Provide training and understanding to various departments regarding stock control.
    • Manage the company stock system
    • Other ad hoc projects relating to stock and system management.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a Degree in a related field
    • At least 1 year of experience
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and verbal

    Cashier

    Responsibilities

    • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, utilizing cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
    • Ensure all monetary exchanges are properly recorded, with attention to detail to guarantee correct change and receipt issuance.
    • Maintain the cash register in a balanced state, reconciling daily transactions and ensuring all discrepancies are reported and resolved promptly.
    • Provide customers with accurate receipts, ensuring that all items are correctly billed and properly tracked for returns and exchanges.
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all transactions, including sales, refunds, and exchanges.
    • Maintain and update customer transaction records, ensuring that all reports and receipts are completed and filed according to company procedures.
