    General Manager (Group COO)

    Job Summary

    • FMR Agency is recruiting a highly strategic and commercially driven General Manager to oversee multiple business subsidiaries across real estate development, construction, and energy storage in Abuja.
    • The successful candidate will operate at an executive level, driving business growth, financial governance, and operational excellence across the portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic oversight of cash flow management across all subsidiaries, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and sustainable business growth.
    • Develop and execute funding strategies, including building relationships with financial institutions, investors, and lenders to secure financing for business expansion and capital projects.
    • Drive working capital optimization and ensure sufficient liquidity across all business units.

    Head of Finance and Administration

    Role Overview

    • We are seeking a high-calibre Head of Finance and Administration to lead financial governance, risk management, and operational finance within a fast-growing real estate investment and construction business.
    • This role is designed for a dynamic, detail-oriented finance leader with strong grounding in audit, corporate assurance, and financial operations, ideally from a Big 4 background.
    • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic decision-making, while building robust financial systems to support business growth.

    Key Responsibilities
    Financial Operations & Control:

    • Oversee end-to-end financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
    • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial statements and management reports
    • Implement strong internal controls across all financial processes
    • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation strategies

    Risk Management & Compliance:

    • Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
    • Ensure full compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory requirements
    • Strengthen governance frameworks and financial control systems
    • Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions

    Audit & Assurance:

    • Lead internal audit processes and coordinate external audit engagements
    • Drive audit readiness and ensure zero material audit findings

    Strategic Finance & Business Partnering:

    Risk Management & Business Resilience:

    • Develop financial contingency plans to safeguard the organization during periods of economic uncertainty or operational disruption.
    • Identify emerging financial risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to protect business continuity.
    • Support executive management during crisis situations through scenario planning, financial modeling, and strategic decision support.

    Process Improvement & Leadership:

    • Build and optimize scalable financial systems and reporting frameworks
    • Lead and mentor finance team members to deliver high performance
    • Drive continuous improvement across finance, audit, and risk functions

    Requirements
    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Professional certification required (e.g., ACA, ACCA)
    • 6–10 years’ experience in finance, audit, or risk management
    • Strong preference for candidates with Big 4 experience (KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, EY)
    • Experience in real estate, construction, or investment environments is highly desirable

    • Strong expertise in financial reporting, audit, and internal controls
    • Deep understanding of risk management and corporate governance frameworks
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
