    Quality Control Officer

    Job description:

    • Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be issued out and incoming raw materials.
    • Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product requirements.
    • Reject all the incoming raw materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the inventory department and Centre Manager at the earliest time.
    • Resolving quality-related issues and complaints.
    • Providing training to the quality assurance team.
    • Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records.
    • Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.
    • Monitor customer satisfaction levels.
    • Monitor the production phase at various levels.
    • Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality.
    • Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to quality standards and procedures put in place.
    • Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database.
    • Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
    • Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements.
    • Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training
    • Giving weekly reports and recommendations to the CEO on the implementation of quality management systems and policies.

    Job Requirements 

    • B.Sc or H.N.D in Food Science and Technology, Bio-Chemistry, or any related discipline with a minimum of 2.1 from a recognized tertiary institution.
    • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a quality control officer or similar role.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Keen attention to detail
    • Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications
    • In-depth understanding and Up-to-date knowledge of global standards and best practices
    • Understanding of target market and consumer needs
    • Documentation and reporting skills
    • Teamwork and collaboration
    • Independence of the mind

    Junior Accountant

    Job description :

    • Financial Data Management - Maintains a proper record of the financial transactions as it relates to the Bakery.
    • Offer the Right Financial Advice-Creates a database which can help in future business planning. She offers vital advice on matters like revenue and expenditure trends. Helps in taking important decisions like hiring outsourcing services, taking loans etc. Any discrepancies and irregularities related to finances can be dealt with.
    • Helpful in Tax preparation and Filing.
    • Dealing with suppliers and Outside Parties.
    • Timely preparation of payroll and pay-slips; and ensuring that proper bank accounts are credited and debited.
    • Reconciliation of Cashbook account with Bank statement.
    • Setting Accounting goals and objectives.
    • Risk Evaluation and Opportunities Analysis
    • Ensures that there is consistency in procedures and policies across the accounting department and that these policies are appropriately set for the achievement of the company is overall goals and objectives.
    • Liaise with the Administrative department on preparation of weekly / month budgets.
    • Prepare monthly reports of the Company's financial statements as well as the profit information for the month.
    • Monitors debtors and creditors balances to ensure prompt payment and proper documentation.
    • Balance total cashier's account for the day and send daily update to Centre Manager.
    • Authorize and append payment voucher.
    • Interact with Bank account officers as it relates to the Bakery.
    • Oversee raw material store and dispatch unit.

    Job Requirements

    • Applicant must possess B.Sc or Hnd in Accounting or Finance from a well recognized tertiary institution.
    • Being a member of Ican or any other recognized accounting professional body is a plus.
    • Applicant must have an analytical mind and a keen eye for details.
    • Applicant must possess sound numerical abilities and proficiency in computer operation.
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft excel is a must.
    • Applicant must possess high level of integrity and good communication skills.
    • Applicant must be sound in Financial reporting and Financial Management.
    • Applicant must be within the ages of 22-28years,
    • female needed 
    • Applicant must be resident in Port harcourt 
    • Applicant should be able to work with minimum supervision and also possess problem solving abilities.
    • 1- 3 years experience.
