    Head, Marketing & Corporate Communications

    The Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications is a senior strategic leader responsible for defining, driving, and protecting the

    company's brand identity, market presence, and communication narrative. The role holder will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies, oversee premium lifestyle, champion communications initiatives, and ensure that every customer touchpoint reflects the Group's positioning as a leader in the luxury and premium segment. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational excellence.

    Job Responsibilities

    Brand Strategy and Market Positioning

    • Lead and execute the Brand Identity Alignment Project across all Group business units and touchpoints
    • Develop and enforce brand guidelines across all internal and external communications, showrooms, events, and digital platforms.
    • Conduct periodic brand audits to assess consistency, relevance, and market perception.
    • Position the Company Group as a premium lifestyle solutions authority in key target markets.
    • Ensure leadership visibility and thought leadership align with the Group's brand positioning.

    Integrated Marketing Communications

    • Develop and oversee Strategic Marketing Campaigns across digital, print, experiential, and outdoor channels.
    • Drive the Promotional Strategy with campaign concepts that communicate the Group's lifestyle offerings to target audiences.
    • Lead the planning and execution of Marketing Strategy & Showroom Events to drive footfall, engagement, and conversion.
    • Manage all paid media, sponsorships, and advertising placements to maximise reach and ROI.
    • Ensure all campaign messaging is consistent with the Group's brand identity and consumer lifestyle aspirations.

    Lifestyle Magazine & Content Production

    • Oversee end-to-end planning, production, and distribution of the company Lifestyle & Wellness Magazine.
    • Drive intentional circulation of 750–1,500 copies per edition from Q1 2026 through strategic distribution partnerships.
    • Recruit and manage expert contributors and industry voices to build editorial credibility.
    • Establish distribution partnerships with premium hospitality hubs, executive lounges, financial institutions, and luxury retailers.
    • Track readership metrics and circulation performance to continuously improve content relevance and reach.

    Digital Marketing & Content Strategy

    • Set, monitor, and achieve Digital Engagement Targets across all owned platforms.
    • Develop a content strategy that reflects the Group's premium lifestyle positioning and drives consistent audience growth.
    • Oversee SEO, SEM, email marketing, and performance advertising to maximise digital reach.
    • Manage the Group's digital reputation, ensuring timely and brand-appropriate online engagement.
    • Leverage data analytics to continuously refine content performance and audience targeting.

    Commercial Growth & Revenue Support

    • Align all marketing initiatives to the Group's commercial objectives and revenue generation targets.
    • Support sales and business development teams with  collateral, activations, and lead generation strategies.
    • Ensure CRM acquisition and improved Customer Engagement & Feedback Loop to deepen relationships and improve lifetime value.
    • Track and report marketing-attributed revenue, cost per lead, and ROMI to the Executive Director.
    • Identify new commercial opportunities through market intelligence and competitive analysis.

    Stakeholder, Events & Executive Engagement

    • Plan and execute Industry Events & Executive Luxury Lifestyle Experiences for high-value clients and industry influencers.
    • Manage Customer Appreciation programmes that deepen loyalty and reinforce the Group's premium experience.
    • Develop and execute the annual CSR Project with clear community impact and brand visibility.
    • Build relationships with media houses, PR agencies, and key opinion leaders to amplify the Group's voice.
    • Support executive leadership with speech writing, presentations, and public-facing communications.

    Corporate Reputation & Crisis Communications

    • Develop and maintain a corporate communications framework to safeguard the Group's reputation.
    • Establish a crisis communications protocol for swift, brand- protective responses to reputational risks
    • Monitor media sentiment and public perception to provide proactive intelligence to the executive team
    • Oversee all press releases, public statements, and media engagements for accuracy and brand alignment

    People Leadership & Team Development

    • Set clear performance objectives and implement development plans for all direct reports.
    • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven team culture.
    • Manage agency partners, freelancers, and vendors to ensure quality, timelines, and budget adherence.
    • Champion internal communications to keep staff aligned with the Group's brand and corporate direction.

    Customer Experience & Corporate Accountability

    • Champion the CX–Corporate Services Accountability Partnership to ensure marketing reinforces a seamless client journey.
    • Oversee the External Customer Experience Survey and use insights to refine messaging and touchpoints.
    • Manage communications for the Company Driver Experience programme in line with the Group's service standards.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the brand promise is consistently delivered at every customer stage.
    • Use customer feedback and NPS data to improve the tone and impact of all marketing output.

    Budget & Resource Optimisation

    • Develop, manage, and report on the annual marketing budget with purposeful, strategic expenditure.
    • Implement a campaign performance tracking system to monitor spend efficiency and ROI.
    • Identify cost-effective partnerships and production solutions that maintain premium quality.
    • Present regular budget performance reports with variance analysis to the Executive Director.
    • Ensure all agency contracts and vendor agreements are commercially sound and strategically aligned.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (required)
    • Minimum of 13 years of cognate experience in marketing, brand management, or corporate communications
    • At least 3 years in a strategic and/or senior leadership role, with demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive organisational-level
    • marketing initiatives or business leadership role within: Lifestyle & Consumer Goods, Hospitality & Luxury Services, Retail & Fashion, Real Estate & Property Development, Financial Services & Wealth Management, Media, Entertainment & Creative Industries.
    • M.Sc. in Marketing, Communications, Business, or MBA (preferred)

    Manager- Government Relations

    They are looking to hire a Government Relations Manager to build a primary interface with local, state and federal government authorities, regulatory bodies, and relevant parastatal. The Government Relations Manager will build, manage, and maintain the relationships required to secure timely permits, licences, approvals, and policy alignment across all of the company's operational and pipeline states.

    Job Responsibilities

    Regulatory & Permit Management

    • Own and drive the end-to-end process for obtaining all government permits, licences, and regulatory approvals (NERC, NEMSA, State Electricity Regulatory Commissions, environmental agencies, Lands & Building agency bureaus and local government authorities) across the company's project portfolio.
    • Track permit timelines and proactively escalate bottlenecks, ensuring project delivery schedules are not compromised by regulatory delays.
    • Maintain a live register of all permits, licences, and compliance deadlines across operational and pipeline sites.

    Government & Stakeholder Relationship Management 

    • Build and maintain productive working relationships with key contacts across the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), NERC, NEMSA, State Ministries of Power/Energy/Environment, State Electricity Regulatory Commissions, and local government councils in all project states. 
    • Serve as the company's primary point of contact for government authorities, ensuring consistent, professional, and strategically aligned communication.
    • Represent the company at government-convened meetings, public hearings, industry forums, conferences, and policy consultation sessions. 
    • Develop and nurture relationships with traditional rulers, community leaders, and local government officials in project areas to support site acquisition, community engagement, and social licence to operate.

    Policy Intelligence & Risk Management 

    • Monitor the regulatory and policy environment at federal and state levels, identifying new legislation, tariff changes, grant programme requirements, and compliance obligations that affect the company's operations.
    • Provide timely briefings and written advisories to the CEO and executive team on policy developments, emerging risks, and strategic opportunities.
    • Contribute to the company's positioning on sector-wide consultations, regulatory reviews, and electrification policy discussions.

    Internal Coordination & Reporting 

    • Coordinate with the Legal department on regulatory filings, licence applications, and government correspondence.
    • Work closely with Operations and Projects teams to ensure regulatory requirements are factored into site selection, construction timelines, and operational planning.
    • Support the Growth and Programmes teams in preparing regulatory components of grant applications, donor reports, and investor materials.
    • Prepare and circulate regular progress reports, stakeholder maps, and risk registers to internal leadership.

    Process Improvement 

    • Develop and maintain a Government Relations play book documenting standard processes, key contacts, approval workflows, and state-specific regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and implement improvements to government engagement processes, reducing turnaround times and building institutional knowledge within the company. 
    • Establish a stakeholder engagement tracker (CRM or equivalent) to ensure no relationship or deadline falls through the cracks.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations, Humanities, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
    • Minimum of 5–8 years’ professional experience in government relations, regulatory affairs, public policy, or stakeholder management.
    • Experience within the energy, infrastructure, or utilities sector is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated track record of engaging with Nigerian government institutions at state and federal levels, including regulatory bodies, ministries, and parastatal. 
    • Experience working with or within NERC, NEMSA, REA, state electricity regulators, or similar agencies is a significant advantage.

    Skills & Competencies

    •  Deep understanding of Nigeria’s system of government and public administration, including federal-state dynamics and the regulatory framework for off-grid electricity.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills. This role requires clear, confident, and professional correspondence with senior government officials and internal executives alike. 
    • Excellent negotiation and diplomatic skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations and competing interests. 
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple permit processes, relationships, and deadlines across several states simultaneously.
