A fast-growing telecom retail company with a strong presence in Ile-Ife, Osun State and surrounding communities. We are now expanding our support functions and looking for a capable, proactive, and professional HR Assistant to join their team. This is a key role that will support the smooth running of our operations through effective human resource management.

Duties:

• Lead end-to-end selection, and onboarding processes for sales staff, store managers, and other team members
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR database, attendance, and leave management
• Support monthly payroll processing, deductions, and benefits administration
• Handle employee relations, grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures
• Coordinate staff training, development programs, and performance appraisal cycles
• Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws, company policies, and health & safety standards
• Assist in developing HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
• Prepare monthly HR reports (staff strength, turnover, recruitment status, etc.) for management
• Manage exit processes, exit interviews, and final settlements
• Support the store team with daily HR-related issues and provide excellent internal customer service

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: BSc/HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or any related discipline
• Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is a strong advantage
• Minimum 2–4 years proven HR experience (retail, telecom, or fast-paced environment preferred)
• Excellent spoken and written English; Yoruba is compulsory
• Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) and any HRIS/software
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail
• Age: 25–40 years
• Must be resident in Ile-Ife or willing to relocate immediately (Please do not apply if you are not currently living in Ile-Ife or are unwilling to relocate immediately)
