    HR & Admin Manager

    Job Summary

    • The HR & Admin Manager will foster a positive work environment, promote employee engagement and productivity.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of human resources and administrative functions within the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with organizational goals, and in compliance with labour laws.
    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and selection, orientation and onboarding.
    • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development.
    • Compensation and benefits preparation and implementation handle all statutory payments – Pension, Group Life, NSITF, ITF and HMO administration.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
    • Address employee concerns, conflicts, provide guidance and support to employees and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
    • Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance overall workplace satisfaction.

    Key Administrative Functions

    • Oversee general administrative tasks, including office management, office supplies, facilities, and vendor relationships.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
    • Manage all third parties and government agencies statutory requirement tool of trade vehicle registration, insurances and renewal of Particulars.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with minimum 8 years work experience in construction/related field and be CIPM certified.
    • At least 5 yrs experience maintaining industrial harmony in a unionized environment.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proven track record in HR & Admin management.

    Senior Quantity Surveyor

    Job Summary

    • The successful candidate shall be charged with managing all financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects remain within budget and meet quality standards.
    • Key responsibilities include cost estimation,tender preparation,contract negotiation, risk management, and mentoring junior staff.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties

    • Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates, and budgets, while monitoring project expenses to ensure they align with financial objectives.
    • Prepare tender documents, analyze subcontractor quotations, and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms.
    • Manage variations (changes in scope), value completed work, and process payments to subcontractors.
    • Perform risk management and, value engineering, and prepare comprehensive cost reports for clients and senior management.
    • Mentor, supervise, and assign work to junior quantity surveyors and the commercial team.
    • Liaise with architects, clients, and contractors to resolve discrepancies between drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • A Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • Qualified QS with min 5yrs work experience required
    • Experience dealing with top management
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Several years of experience in cost management preferred.
    • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and local building regulations.
    • Experience with cost estimation software and Excel.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

    Construction Safety Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Construction Safety Manager would be charged with the responsibility of conducting site inspections, assessing different work conditions and adhering to the health and safety protocols imposed, and identifying possible work-related safety issues and risks on projects, with the purpose of designing appropriate solutions to prevent issues from arising.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and ensure safe equipment operating techniques.
    • Plan, lead, and participate in job site safety meetings.
    • Review and update monthly, all site-specific safety plans with the project teams.
    • Follow up with subcontractor representatives to ensure proper disciplinary procedures.
    • Implement, inspect, and maintain job site and office manuals. Train employees in various safety proceduresaccording to the construction safety management plan.
    • Conduct periodic safety inspections on all job sites to ensure safety procedures are in place.
    • Record and compile data, update logs, monitor equipment, and schedule maintenance.
    • Update and maintain the company’s contingency and recovery plan.
    • Perform and oversee the investigation of accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions, including interfacing with workers’ compensation claims.
    • Communicate with injured workers and plan return to work strategies.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience developing safety policies, conducting audits
    • 8+ years’ experience in construction safety and health program management.
    • Strong knowledge of safety regulations. 
    • Relevant certifications (e.g. NIOSH, OSHA).
    • Sound/ethical judgment, strong leadership skills, and ability to work independently.  
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite. 
    • Experience working on commercial or civil construction projects.
