    Job Summary

    Job Summary

    • The Instrumentation Manager-Power Plant at Dangote Cement Plc is responsible for the execution of maintenance activities on installed Control & Instrumentation systems of our Gas Turbine based power plant.

    Piping Field Engineer

    • The Piping Field Engineer is responsible for overseeing piping engineering, fabrication, erection, and site execution activities for oil and gas projects.
    • The role involves coordinating between engineering and site teams, reviewing piping designs and drawings, resolving technical issues, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards, and supporting construction activities through all project phases from design review to final as-built documentation.

    Key Responsibilities

    Engineering & Design:

    • Perform piping routing studies and prepare sketches for drafting activities.
    • Review and verify piping designs, layouts, and routing in accordance with project specifications and applicable industry standards.
    • Review and check piping deliverables including:

    Site Execution & Construction Support:

    • Control and monitor piping fabrication and erection activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
    • Conduct site surveys and collect field data for engineering evaluations and modifications.
    • Identify technical issues, discrepancies, and clashes during construction and provide practical engineering solutions.
    • Prepare and issue site instructions in response to subcontractor queries.
    • Monitor material consumption and compare actual usage against approved estimates and budgets.

    Materials & Documentation:

    • Review and verify Material Take-Offs (MTO) and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
    • Ensure compliance with Piping Material Specifications (PMS).
    • Prepare SAP Purchase Requisitions (PR), material code creation, and OSRD reports.
    • Review vendor documents and package drawings.
    • Coordinate engineering document issuance and revisions.
    • Review and verify final as-built drawings, layouts, and project documentation.

    Coordination & Compliance:

    • Act as the interface between Engineering Office and Site Office to resolve project-related technical issues.
    • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, clients, and internal departments.
    • Ensure all engineering activities comply with project specifications, client requirements, API, ASME, and other applicable industry standards.

    Key Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
    • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
    • Proven experience in piping engineering, site construction support, fabrication, and erection activities.
    • Experience working on EPC, refinery, petrochemical, gas processing, or offshore/onshore oil & gas projects is highly desirable.

    • We are seeking a dedicated Head, HAM and Admin at Okpella Cement Limited who will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for the Human Asset Management and Administration functions of the plant.
    • The role ensures effective implementation of HR and administrative policies, workforce planning, employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, succession planning, compensation and benefits, learning and development, shared services, fleet, protocol, estate, housekeeping, and general administrative support in line with business objectives.

    Key Duties And Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the HAM and Admin department to support plant operations and business objectives.
    • Oversee the implementation of Human Asset Management policies, procedures, and programmes across the plant.
    • Coordinate manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement activities.
    • Ensure effective administration of compensation, benefits, staff welfare, employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance management.

    Requirements

    • First Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Employee relations, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field.
    • Master’s Degree or relevant professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, or cement-related field, with at least five (5) years in a senior management role.

    • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in security operations, corporate security, law enforcement, military, paramilitary, or industrial security, preferably within manufacturing, mining, cement, or heavy industrial environment, with at least five (5) years in a senior leadership role.

    Technical Assistant to the Managing Director, Infrastructure & Logistics

    • The Technical Assistant to the Managing Director, Infrastructure & Logistics, Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) serves as a senior high-impact strategic support officer, providing expert technical, analytical, and operational assistance directly to the MD.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct in-depth technical research, feasibility analysis, and due diligence on infrastructure and logistics projects, presenting findings with clear recommendations to the MD. 
    • Prepare high-quality technical briefs, executive presentations, board papers, and position documents on behalf of the MD for internal and external stakeholders. 
    • Monitor and track the progress of key infrastructure and logistics projects, highlighting risks, delays, and performance variances, and recommending corrective actions.

    • Maintain a dynamic database of infrastructure assets, project portfolios, vendor performance records, and regulatory submissions. 
    • Act as a point of contact between the MD's office business units and technical teams, fostering clear communication, accountability, and seamless information flow. 
    • Supports the MD in site visits and regulatory inspections across all terminals/projects. 

    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree (minimum Second Class Upper) in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
    • A Master's Degree (MBA or MSc in Engineering Management, Infrastructure, or related field) is strongly preferred.
    • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or FIDIC are an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, engineering, logistics, or project management roles.
    • A good understanding of financial analysis
    • Prior experience supporting senior executives and/or working in the maritime industry is highly desirable

    Functional Competencies:

    • Strong technical acumen in civil, mechanical, or logistics infrastructure with ability to interpret engineering drawings, contracts, and technical reports.
