Role Summary

• The Quality Control Officer (QC) is responsible for ensuring that all food products prepared in the Central Kitchen and Pastry meet Bukka Hut’s quality, safety, hygiene, and consistency standards before dispatch to outlets.
• They support operational excellence by monitoring processes, validating CCPs, enforcing SOP compliance, and preventing quality defects.

Core Duties 

• Inspect all incoming raw materials for quality, freshness, packaging integrity, and compliance according to SOP.
• Verify supplier documents (COA, shelf life, specifications).
• Monitor all production stages to ensure SOP and CCP compliance.
• Check recipe measurements, cooking times, temperatures, and portion accuracy.
• Ensure proper hygiene practices for staff, equipment, utensils, and workstations.
• Enforce food safety standards and HACCP guidelines.
• Conduct organoleptic analysis ( taste, texture, colour, and appearance) checks on finished products
• Approve or reject finished batches before dispatch.
• Verify packaging, labelling, batch coding, and storage conditions.
• Maintain accurate quality logs, records, and CCP documentation.
• Report non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Check equipment calibration (thermometers, weighing scales, etc).
• Ensure proper sanitation, cleaning schedules, and waste management.
• Support and train CK staff on hygiene and quality requirements.
• Identify and escalate quality risks or deviations immediately.
• Recommend process or recipe improvements where needed.
• Monitor pest control and environmental conditions.
• Validate dispatch conditions (temperature, packaging, cold chain).
• Ensure only approved products are released to outlets.
• Support audits, internal inspections, and quality reviews.

Responsibilities

• Safely transportgoods to designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate trip, mileage, and fuel records.
• Comply with traffic laws and company policies.
• Assist with loading and unloading items when required.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.

Requirements

• 3–5 years proven experience in Brand/Marketing Communications within a QSR or FMCG environment (MANDATORY)
• Strong understanding of consumer trends in the food and hospitality space
• Demonstrated experience managing high-impact marketing campaigns
• Excellent storytelling, content creation, and copywriting skills
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
