    Project Coordinator, Agbara

    Job purpose

    Coordinate project management and operations in order to deliver projects within the established budget and timeline.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise all civil, structural and mechanical projects to achieve quality
    • Conduct detailed structural analysis and simulations to ensure the integrity and reliability of designs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (example, engineering, production, quality control) to ensure seamless integration of components.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
    • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date engineering documentation, including design specifications, calculations, and drawings.
    • Identify and mitigate potential resource constraints to ensure project continuity.
    • Ensure safe work practice on project activities initiated by the company

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering
    • 4 – 6 years cognate experience civil design, project management, cite supervision
    • Ability to set and achieve realistic goals, with techniques to handle personality and good interpersonal teamwork spirit
    • Technical skills, example AUTOCAD, ORION, CIVILCAD, staadpro
    • Project management skills
    • Ability to use Microsoft office packages - Excel, Word, Power Point

    Procurement Supervisor, Agbara

    Job purpose

    Ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency in the procurement and delivery of materials to support the company’s operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure timely and cost-efficient procurement of high-quality materials and optimal level of these materials at all times.
    • Ensure that suppliers comply with the company’s standards and specifications to avoid substandard materials for the production of company’s products.
    • Maintain records of all registered/approved suppliers/transporters and sub-contractors list and ensure their re-evaluation/re-certification is periodically done in line with company’s policy
    • Obtain quotations and proposals from vendors/contractors and analyse same for cost effectiveness and submit same for relevant approvals.
    • Ensure prompt negotiation and conclude LPOs within prescribed authority limit; and ensure correctness of all details in the purchase orders while delivery is scheduled in a way to ensure hitch free operations.
    • Follow up appropriately on vendors’ bills and ensure bills/invoices are paid in line with company’s policies and agreed terms.
    • Enforce strict time management in respect of attention given to suppliers on delivery of goods and provision of services.
    • Maintain the company’s spend analysis for all categories of materials to support market survey/intelligence.
    • Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis or as may be required for submission

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related field  
    • 4 – 6 years cognate experience in manufacturing sector.
    • Member of relevant professional body (CIPs) is an added advantage
    • Procurement and Logistics skills

    Customer Service Manager (Quality Assurance), Agbara

    Job purpose

    Coordinate trial runs at customers’ plants and resolve customers’ complaints with effective communication between customer, commercial and operations teams.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and monitor trial runs on new product, fresh deliveries and communicate feedback to the concerned plant
    • Visit customers’ plants to ensure that feedback on supplies is addressed without degenerating into complaints
    • Conduct joint investigation of root cause for complaints and give feedback to the concerned departments
    • Conduct at least one training programme in the plants per month for appropriate employees on quality process and customer complaint handling
    • Coordinate and write monthly report on customer complaint CAPA and status of implementation and effectiveness
    • Participate and support compliance with the requirements of ISO management systems subscribed by the company  

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science, Statistics and related field  
    • 7 -10 years in relevant field (Food and Beverage, Packaging, FMCG)
    • Problem solving skills and objectivity in judgement
    • Ability to travel at short notice
    • Knowledge of ISO management system
    • Ability to use Microsoft office packages - Excel, Word, Power Point
