    Quality Assurance Executive

    Key Tasks
    Quality Assurance:

    • Ensures that the Quality Management System is adequately established, effectively implemented and maintained.
    • Ensures establishment, review and effective implementation of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) required for Good Warehousing and Good Distribution Practices.
    • Approves products for sales as may be required,
    • Assist in the review of Quality Management System,
    • Assists in all forms of audits: internal, second-party, regulatory inspections and third-party audits.
    • Collaborates with other functional heads to assure compliance with all applicable quality plans and requirements.
    • Coordinates warehouse inspection
    • Coordinates activities of Quality Officers.
    • Coordinates with external services providers to assure effectiveness of the QMS.
    • Authorize coding and relabeling activities
    • Co-ordinate complaints resolution.
    • Reports to Quality and Regulatory Manager
    • Quality Control /QA for MAS labeling operations/ NAFDAC number printing operations.
    • Pest management programme.
    • Coordinate calibration activities
    • Coordinate supplier’s audit.
    • Maintains training programme and records of training conducted.
    • Approves the release of goods under “Quarantine or Hold” as may be required.

    Regulatory Affairs:

    • Monitoring and Managing of Pharmaco-vigilance and adverse events monitoring

    Training:

    • Participate in the facilitation of training programmes as practical.

    Compliance:

    • Ensures that written standards are aligned kept updated and accurately describe processes in the business.
    • Conduct awareness training of compliance policies for various audiences including third parties (including employees of third parties hosted at the business), contractors, and employees.
    • Participates in Identification and mitigation of risk.
    • Implement compliance programme.

    Measures of Performance

    • Ensuring that Quality Objectives are achieved -70%
    • Ensuring that Occupational & Health Management Objectives — 20%
    • Periodic report to be made to Management -10%

    Requirements

    • Candidates should have a Pharmacy background

    Angle Heel Milling Operator

    Responsibilities

    • Operate angle heel milling machinery to mill precise angles on materials according to blueprints or specifications.
    • Set up materials and tools required for milling operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
    • Inspect milled products to ensure they meet quality standards, making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.
    • Perform routine maintenance on milling equipment to ensure optimal functionality and identify and report any issues promptly.
    • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines during machine operation and maintenance activities.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in machine operation is an added advantage.
    • Previous experience operating angle heel milling machines or similar equipment preferred.
    • Ability to read blueprints, understand technical specifications, and operate machinery with precision.
    • Strong focus on accuracy and quality control to produce precise angles within specified tolerances.
    • Basic understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery.
    • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by following safety procedures and protocols.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks associated with machine operation.

    CNC Programmer and Data Operator

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and write CNC programs using CAM software based on engineering drawings, specifications, and job orders.
    • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts/components in compliance with technical guidelines.
    • Maintain and organize machining data, including tooling selections, machine settings, and production parameters.
    • Conduct regular quality checks on machined parts, making adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy and precision.
    • Identify and troubleshoot issues with CNC machines, collaborating with maintenance for repairs and adjustments.
    • Maintain accurate records of programs, setups, and tooling used in machining operations.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in CNC programming/machining is preferred.
    • Proficiency in CNC programming languages (G-code, etc.) and experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM).
    • Understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Hands-on experience operating CNC machines and familiarity with machine controls and setups.
    • Strong focus on precision, accuracy, and quality control in machining processes.
    • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to CNC machining.
    • Efficient data management skills to maintain records and documentation accurately.
    • Prior experience in CNC programming and machine operation in a manufacturing or related environment.
