    Vehicle Repairs & Maintenance Technician

    Ascentech Services Limited – Our client, a leading Manufacturing/FMCG organization, is currently looking to hire a seasoned Vehicle Repairs & Maintenance Technician.

    Qualification: OND/NCE/NABTEB

    Industry / Sector: Manufacturing / FMCG 

    Experience: 5 years

    Location: Nationwide

    Primary responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the repairs of vehicles – SUVs, buses, saloon cars, trucks, etc.
    • Recommend and ensure the purchase of quality spare parts, and that such spares are always in good supply and never out of stock
    • Ensure that vehicles are repaired and maintained at the most reasonable cost, while maintaining good quality of spares
    • Training of drivers on how to maintain the vehicles properly with all the existing limitations (old vehicles, old engines etc.
    • Responsible for the safety and maintenance related training of all drivers, and guiding them on how to deal/fix minor breakdowns etc.

    Essential Requirements:

    • ND/NCE/NABTEB in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an automobile technician – preferably in the maintenance of both heavy and light duty vehicles.
    • Relevant certifications in automobile repair and maintenance.
    • Passionate and self-driven, with keen attention for details
    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with staff across all levels of the organization.
    • High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency.
    • Must be decisive, courageous, and possess very good decision-making skills.

    Export Officer

    Ascentech Services Limited – Our client, a leading FMCG company, is currently looking to hire an Export Officer.

    Qualification: BA/BSc/HND

    Experience: 5 years

    Location: Mowe, Ogun State

    Responsibilities:

    • Administer all export of goods and ensure compliance to all organizational policies and procedures and monitor all financial and currency processes and transactions and manage all communication with export authorities for all required countries.
    • Design and implement all export strategies and activities and ensure adherence to all project requirements and prepare all export documents within required timeframe and schedule efficient shipping activities and identify appropriate transportation method in assistance with customers.
    • Monitor all sales transactions and review all customer response for all orders and payments and resolve all customer issues for processes and manage sales shipments of all export products and collaborate with suppliers to ensure smooth functioning of processes and forecast all requirements.
    • Manage all banking logistics for export activities and prepare required documents and prepare special labels for brands and ensure adherence to all shipping schedule.
    • Enters sales, purchase, freight, product and regulations data into ERP.
    • Corresponds with or calls customers, suppliers, forwarders and others concerning the transportation of products, referring unusual matters to supervisor.
    • Complies daily with all chemical regulations as indicated by management.

    Experience & Essential Skills

    • Export documentation and prior experience in successful collaboration with third party agencies like customs, inspection agents, terminal officials, shipping lines etc.
    •  Liaising with banks for NXPs, NESS payments, remittance credits and ensuring successful completion of work;
    • Consolidation of all export invoicing, packing list & post-dispatch documents;
    •  Consistent tracking of all shipments till they are discharged by the overseas buyers;
    • Import clearance related basic follow-up and documentation;
    • Accounting of all exports into the accounting system and preparing a cost analysis for each shipment;

    Requirements

    • Minimum of HND qualification.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry.

    Human Resources Manager

    Ascentech Services Limited – Our client, a leading Manufacturing/FMCG organization, is currently looking to hire a seasoned Human Resources Manager.

    Industry / Sector: Manufacturing / FMCG 

    Experience: 10 years

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and participate in the development, formulation and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for assigned programs; recommend and administer HR policies and procedures.
    • Investigate complaints and recommend appropriate action, take the necessary disciplinary action when required.
    • Fully administer and manage all company employee relations and personnel functions, files and documentations.
    • Structure and implement people-centred interventions, programs and policies
    • Act as a Business Partner by providing internal consultation to other departments within the Business.
    • Represent management in Labour contract negotiations and monitor implementation of policies concerning wages, hours, and working conditions to ensure compliance
    • Manage the end to end promotion cycle with any assessments required to be done – including proffering advice required for the business/line managers to take informed decisions

    Requirements:

    • B.Sc. in Human Resources or any other related field. MSc/MBA, including one of CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD certifications, will be a plus.
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing company. Experience in collective bargaining and/or in dealing with Trade Unions will be an advantage.
    • Must be able to think creatively and contribute to strategic HR discussions
    • Excellent spoken and written skills
    • Must be ambitious and willing to learn and grow.
