    Night Auditor

    Position Summary

    • The Night auditor will be responsible for the general end-of-day procedures at the hotel.
    • The night auditor will check front office accounting records for accuracy, summarizes and compiles information for the hotel's financial records, tracks room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics on a daily basis.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Confirms that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments.
    • Verifies that all transactions performed at the front desk are supported by documentary
    • evidence and signatures as necessary and that they have been correctly posted and allocated in to PMS system.
    • Verifies that all charges posted from the POS Software, SPA software had reached the correct guest folios and also not missing.
    • Prints up and files reservations for the next business day.
    • Verifies all account postings and balances.
    • Verifies that room rates are correct and posts those rates to guest accounts.
    • Monitors the current status of coupon, discount, and other promotional programs.
    • Able to function as a front desk agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out procedures.
    • Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics.
    • Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
    • Summarises results of operations for management.
    • Record, store, access, and/or analyse computerised financial information.
    • Prepare of End of day procedure and follow checklist
    • Must have complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
    • Run end of day process in property management software (PMS).
    • Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
    • Knows how to operate PMS, typewriters, and other front office equipment's.
    • Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as needed.

    Prerequisites

    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management or any relevant degree course
    • Minimum of three years experience in a similar role.

    Guest Service Agent

    Position Summary

    • The 'Guest Service Agent' represents the hotel to the guest as the first point of contact and assist them throughout all stages of the guest's stay.
    • The GSA will determine a guest's reservation status and identifies duration of guest stay, assist guests to complete registration cards, handle payment and then assigns rooms, accommodating special requests whenever possible.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Register guests, assigns guest rooms and accommodates special requests whenever possible.
    • Assists in pre-registration and booking of rooms for reservations and is acquainted with cancellation procedure.
    • Thoroughly understand and adheres to proper credit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures.
    • Understands room status and room status tracking.
    • Knowledgeable about room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
    • Presents service options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices.
    • Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel.
    • Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
    • Maintains guest room key storage, and maintains and supervises access to safe deposit boxes.
    • Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
    • Knowledgeable about all safety and emergency procedures, Is aware of accident prevention policies.
    • Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.

    Prerequisites

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant degree course.
    • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.

    Housekeeper

    Position Summary

    • The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas within the hotel.
    • Their primary duties include washing linen, disposing of waste properly and arranging rooms in a high standard manner.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Cleaning and arranging guest rooms
    • Washing dirty bedding, clothing and linen
    • Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies
    • Receiving visitors and showing guests around
    • Dusting furniture or fixtures and polishing them
    • Scrubbing and sanitizing showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops and sinks
    • Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, doormats and rugs
    • Reporting breakages, damages and safety issues for repairs
    • Adjust furniture, desk items, and appliances when necessary
    • Dust furnishings and walls and remove marks from them
    • Carry out floor care duties in hallway and guest rooms, and vacuum carpets
    • Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies
    • Provide immediate report of any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problem, or accidents to the supervisor
    • Successfully complete training and certification programs in safety
    • Ensure flammable materials are properly stored
    • Keep uniform clean and make sure to appear professional always
    • Keep proprietary information confidential
    • Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests
    • Expect service needs of guests and provide them even before called upon to do so.

    Prerequisites

    • Candidates should possess minimum of a High School Leaving certificate
    • Minimum of three years in similar role
    • Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies
    • Physical stamina for being on your feet throughout shifts
    • Able to lift upwards of 25 pounds
    • Meticulous attention to detail
    • Able to follow instructions
    • Time-management skills.

    Hotel Supervisor

    Position Summary

    • The Hotel Supervisors will be responsible for the effective and efficient coordination of operations within the hotel, ensuring that operations and optimized and profitability is maximized. It is expected that the Supervisor will oversee all operations, prepare reports, and manage all departments, in order to aid smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensuring that the hotel is well-maintained by scheduling repairs and maintenance as needed.
    • Coordinating with other departments such as human resources or marketing to streamline operations.
    • Reviewing guest complaints, concerns, or issues in order to make decisions about how to best respond to them.
    • Managing the daily operations of the hotel including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members.
    • Ensuring that guests are satisfied with their experience at the hotel through regular contact with customers.
    • Overseeing the financial operations of the hotel such as revenue management and labor costs
    • Assigning rooms to guests based on availability or preferences as indicated in reservations
    • Supervising the activities of employees on the front desk to ensure that they are greeting guests in a friendly manner and answering any questions they may have regarding hotel policies or services provided
    • Ensuring that all guests are safe and secure while staying at the hotel.

    Prerequisites

    • Educated of OND with 4 years and HND / B.Sc
    • Experience of 2 years of leadership and experts in hospitality management.
    • Strong leadership and delegation abilities
    • Report writing and costing efficiency
    • Proficient with MS package
    • Organization skills.
