Duties & Responsibilities:

• Preparation and painting of the vessel as required.
• Have understanding and comply with all relevant sections of the Company’s policies and management system.
• Be familiar with his emergency duties and he must be aware of, and abide by Company procedures, policies and instructions.
• Lash and secure cargo and equipment on the weather decks or other cargo spaces, and the stores/spares in storerooms, in his area of responsibility.
• Carry out maintenance of deck machinery and equipment and assist in carrying out planned maintenance routines.
• Be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment in the field of his responsibility and maintain the cleanliness of his work area.
• Be responsible for washing down/degreasing of the vessel externally.  Additionally he will maintain internal cleanliness of areas which he is directed, not excluding engine room areas, as per the IDF agreement.
• Be part of the helideck fire party during helicopter operations or act as a baggage handler under the direction of the HLO.
• Whilst watchkeeper, shall undertake the routines concerned with cleanliness of specified areas, maintain a fire watch, keep in constant communication with the Bridge by means of a portable radio and perform bridge lookout or other duties as specified by the OOW.

Qualification and Experience

• Proven experience and results-oriented career and/or B Eng. or Degree equivalents in appropriate engineering subject, unlimited as per STCW Reg.AIII2 and Reg. A. 111/2 respectively;
• Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in any Science / Engineering Related field.
• Candidate must have the relevant mandatories (STCW, TBOSIET, HUET, GMDSS, OSP and All other relevant Documents for positions applied for).
• Valid IWCF/Well cap certification, Supervisory level is an added advantage.
• At least 7-15 years of Experience any the field being applied for.
• Member of a Professional Body is an added advantage
• Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates.
• Valid International Passport.
• Possess basic critical rig equipment training.
• Demonstrated ability of oral and written communications may be substituted in lieu of formal education.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Chief Engineer.
• Be conversant with electrical plant on the unit.
• Be trained as a Responsible Person for PTW system and isolations.
• Assist, when required, the Deck Engineer (Mechanical) in the completion of their duties
• Report directly to the Chief Engineer.
•  Ensure maintenance of the hydraulic equipment pertaining to heavy cranes, derrick, deck hydraulics and subsea equipment.
• Be conversant with hydraulic plant on the unit.

Qualification and Experience

• Proven experience and results-oriented career and/or B Eng. or Degree equivalents in appropriate engineering subject, unlimited as per STCW Reg.AIII2 and Reg. A. 111/2 respectively;
• Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in any Science / Engineering Related field.

 The Senior or sole Engine Room (ECR) Watchkeeper should have:

• Second Engineer – III/3 or III/2, OOW – III/1 – STCW95.
• An adequate knowledge and experience with the relevant class of vessel in accordance with Section 5 of the IMCA document, “The training and experience of key DP personnel”.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understudy the Chief Engineer.
• Have understanding and comply with all relevant sections of the Company’s policies and management system.
• Be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment for which the Engineering Department has responsibility.
• Be responsible for the supervision of the Engineering Department Staff and for the allocation of responsibility with regard to maintenance and operating duties.
• Be aware of class requirements and will be responsible for the preparation of machinery for survey, as directed by the Chief Engineer.
• Be responsible for ensuring that the information, presented in the ER log, maintenance records, water condition logs and other information, as required, is accurate and up to date. 
• Complete hand-over notes which encompass a comprehensive coverage of departmental work during his period of engagement on the vessel.
• Responsible for advising the Chief Engineer of spare gear requirements.
• Ensure that maintenance and repair work, done in the Engineering Department is adequately supervised and carried out in a safe manner In align with companies permit to work and other safety management systems.
• Review the Safety Notices, Marine Circular Correspondence files and the MMS Amendment file in the current version of the Offshore Management System CD Rom, upon joining and re-joining the vessel. 

Shall be appointed Deputy Safety Officer and assist the Safety Officer in the execution of duties including but not restricted to:

Safety related inspections of machinery spaces

Control of COSHH relating to engineering consumables

Accident/Incident investigation.

Monitoring processes which have the capability to cause an environmental impact.

• Any other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer
