    Business Development Officer

    /BDECD03721

    Job Location : Port Harcourt, Rivers

    Key Responsibilities

    Bidding :

    • Prepares tenders and standardized tender templates and documentation
    • Compilation of various input to create a more complete tender proposal
    • Assists in preparation and/or review of Tender Documentation Packages comprising of Instructions to Bidders, Contract Form, General Terms Conditions, Bid Forms, etc.
    • Maintains tender files and arranges their archiving upon Tender completion
    • Bid via NIPEX portal for oil and gas related company.
    • Expansion of company registrations with the oil majors
    • Quality assurance for company services
    • Manage company-client relationship
    • Evaluate company services/products vis-à-vis industry standards and requirements
    • Identify applicable federal and state laws that govern company operations, products/ services, keep records/ registers and ensure company compliance

    Training Development:

    • Course registration/ validation with international bodies
    • Review business strategy to get Training arm running and productive
    • Review goals/ targets with Business Development Team
    • Conduct feasibility studies for expansion plans on Marine and Downstream services
    • Review business strategy to get Training arm running and productive
    • Expand training scope beyond HSE e.g. Leadership, HR, Finance, etc
    • Renewal of vendorship
    • Achieve course validation by IOSH/IEMA and/or issue certificates in partnership with them or for dual certifications

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • First degree (minimum second class lower) in ,Business Development, Marketing,  or  Business Administration
    • Professional Certification such as CIM,NIM or its equivalent
    • Certificate of training on Bidding especially on Nipex Platform
    • 3-5 years post graduation experience.
    • Must have experience with Nipex bidding
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills
    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Self motivated, good drive and passion for excellence

    Human Resources Officer

    Core competencies

    HSE Adviser

    Job Position: HSE Advisor/HSEACD03721
    Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers with projects at Lagos and offshore.
    Core Competencies:

    • Knowledgeable and being able to undertake JRAs, Incident Investigations, Fire prevention/ risk evaluation, Basic noise measurements
    • Knowledgeable and being able to undertake basic measurements of hazardous substances, Gas testing and monitoring, Basic ergonomics assessments,
    • Basic HSE assessment of production operations
    • Functional knowledge on measurements of hazardous substances, gas testing and monitoring, Ergonomics assessments, Noise measurements and controls.
    • Design and Implementation of Management Systems, HSE assessments of production operations, Lead internal audits

     Qualifications/Requirements for this role:

    • First degree (minimum second class lower) in any Engineering field
    • NEBOSH IGC and ISO 14001:2015 required.
    • Certification on Noise measurements and controls or Certification on Oil and Gas Production safety would be a great advantage
    • 5 years post-graduation experience.

    Accounts Officer

    Job Position: Accountant/ACCCD03721

    Job Location : Port Harcourt, Rivers with projects at Lagos and offshore.


    Core Competencies:

    • Knowledgeable and able to undertake balance off ledger accounts, trial balance, cash flow analysis, cash/ petty cash records keeping, bank reconciliation statements, payroll computation and recording.
    • Knowledgeable and able to account for depreciation and fixed assets, simple adjustments affecting final accounts (provision for bad debts, discounts, accruals and prepayments)
    • Show competence in preparing financial statements, profit and loss accounts, budget setting and tracking, taxation and tax calculations
    • Functional knowledge on all tasks of an Accounts Officer.
    • Have full competence in analysis and interpretation of financial statements including performance (profitability, liquidity/ solvency, investor’s returns) and ratios
    • Must be familiar with applicable accounting standards(IAS)
    • Be able to review financial laws and drive compliance.

    Qualifications/Requirements for this role:

    • First degree (minimum second class lower) in Accounting or any relevant field.
    • Should have at least an ICAN/ACCA  certification.
    • Must have at least 3years’ experience in preparing and presenting financial statements and budget reports
    • 5 years post graduation experience.
    • Knowledgeable and skilled with excel for accounting processes and programming
    • Excellent calculation skills
    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Self motivated, good drive and passion for excellence
