    Assistant Technical Officer - PCT

    Job Description

    • Will be engaged to drive project implementation of prevention, care and treatment activities within the confines of enhanced site management at the facility and community level.
    • S/he will also provide technical assistance visits to all supported facilities across the State providing mentorship/supervision to concerned health workers on TB/HIV/PMTCT/ART/RH activities, thereby building their capacity for quality care delivery in the above-mentioned thematic areas.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MBBS or similar Degree with minimum of 2 years post-NYSC relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT, TB and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings.
    • Or BSc. Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy or other closely related field with minimum of 3 years post-NYSC relevant experience.
    • Or BS / BA in Statistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Monitoring and Evaluation or in relevant Degree with 1 - 3 years relevant experience in Monitoring and Evaluation or data management.

    Finance & Administrative Assistant

    Job Description

    • Will be responsible for the provision of administrative and logistical services to the Finance directorate.
    • S/He will process staff and vendors payments, raise payment requests and payment Vouchers, process memos, purchase orders, expense authorization and purchase requests.
    • Also, s/he will carry out Facility financial audit for secondary and tertiary bills of community volunteers for Hospitals vendors.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • BS / BA Degree in Accounting, Finance and Business Administration or its recognized equivalent, and 1 - 2 years relevant experience.

    Assistant Technical Officer - PCT / M&E (Generalist)

    Job Description

    • Will support the Technical Officer in the implementation of Facility and Community-based Prevention, Care & Treatment activities including strengthening referrals and linkages, improve demand creation for HIV/AIDS services, mentor community-based organizations and support groups to comprehensive services.
    • S/He will enter program data into the AHNi data management software for subsequent analysis; identify and follow up missing data; undertake basic validation checks, store and disseminate data and hard copy files as appropriate.
    • S/He will also support the integration of HIV/AIDS services into routine health services including reproductive health, routinely monitor and report performance indicators and engage in quality improvement measures.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MB.BS or similar Degree with minimum of 1-year relevant experience in clinical care with a sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT, TB and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings.

    Senior Technical Advisor - PCT

    Job Description

    • Will provide leadership and technical support to the Technical Director in the areas of PMTCT, clinical care/ART and reproductive health. S/he coordinates services needed to implement high quality care PMTCT, HIV care and treatment and reproductive health/family planning services (RH/FP)

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MB.BS / MD / PHD or similar Degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience with at least 5 years progressive experience working in the health or development Field in Nigeria
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in care and treatment for HIV/AIDS especially with ARV program
    • Possession of an MPH or post graduate degree in a related field is required
    • Proven experience in project development, planning and facilitating technical training
    • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.

    Intern - PCT / M&E Generalist

    Job Description

    • Will Support the State Office Technical Team with optimal linkage and enrolment rates for identified HIV positive adult, adolescent and pediatric clients and participate in the generation and use of data for analysis to guide decision making for program improvement at state and facility levels.
    • They will also support the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the state office and work with others in the state office and local implementing partners to ensure that state monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and project’s M&E needs.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • MBBS with a minimum of 1 year post national youth service experience in clinical care
    • Or Registered Nurse / Midwife / B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
    • BS / BA in Statistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Monitoring and Evaluation or in relevant Degree with 1 - 3 years relevant experience in Monitoring and Evaluation or data management.

    Intern - Laboratory Services

    Job Description

    • Will provide technical support in the implementation of high-quality laboratory services for the uptake of VL /EID services.
    • S/he will provide direct bench support to strengthen the uptake of VL/ EID testing in the PCR lab, to ensure up-to-date reporting on testing and equipment functionality and Commodity availability and usage.
    • S/He will assay patient samples for EID/viral load test and review test results before dispatch, compile and submit weekly throughput report for EID/viral load test done.
    • Work with State Logistic Officer to perform inventory management of PCR laboratory commodities and timely reporting on LMIS to ensure adequate stock at sites.

    Minimum Recruitment Standards

    • B.Sc in Laboratory Sciences or related field with 1-3 years post national youth service experience in provision of laboratory support for HIV/AIDS.
    • Knowledge of advanced laboratory procedures, diagnosis and management related to PCR lab.
    • Certification of license to practice as a medical laboratory scientist is an added advantage.
