    Product Manager - Senior Level

     Job Summary
    The Product Manager will be passionate about the African informal sector, with the ability to make data-driven decisions on the development of product. We’re looking for someone that has core experience in leading the build of mobile first products with a genuine outlook on customer experience. The role also requires strategy into Product Marketing initiatives that will drive engagement and retention across offline and online channels.
    Job Description

    • Ensure that there is a consistent and reportable routine for gathering insights from key sources (e.g., market, customers, competitors, product analytics) to derive and propose valuable initiatives.
    • Collaborate with marketing to identify target and potential customer segments to create tailored value propositions and penetration strategies for your products.
    • Collaborate with business owners to create compelling and insight-driven proposals for roadmap prioritization.
    • Collaborate with highly skilled cross-functional teams (e.g., engineers, designers, marketers) to ideate, test, build and deliver the most valuable acquisition and retention levers for our customers.
    • Establish Key Performance Indicators to objectively assess the impact and success of all feature/product launches.
    • You must be able to consistently drive the strategic planning and vision of your products and initiatives.
    • You must be able to ensure the timely execution and business operationalization of your product priorities for each initiative cycle (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly).
    • You must be able to support your proposals and execution plan with data-driven insights.
    • You must be able to create detailed product specifications and roadmaps for gaining business and technical alignment.
    • You must be able to communicate your product vision to engineering and design teams to ensure the realization of the most seamless customer experience possible.
    • You must be able to mentor and groom a team of junior and mid-level product managers.

    Job Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing)
    • Minimum of 4-5 years end-to-end product management experience.
    • Understanding of our back-end and front-end tech stacks
    • Practical use of agile development methodologies.
    • Proven experience managing mobile applications.
    • Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., MixPanel, PowerBI).
    • Experience with product management and design tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, UXPin, Figma)
    • Standard industry certifications are advantageous (e.g., SAFe Agile Product Owner, CSPO, PSPO, PMP, CBAP, etc) will be an added advantage

    Sales Associate - Consumer Electronics

     Job Summary
    The primary responsibility of the Sales Associate is to develop the assigned market for Consumer Electronics and increase demand generation for all categories of consumer electronic products sold by Sabi.
    Job Description

    Demand Generation

    • The sales agent (Consumer Electronics) will work to expand demand for assigned products in territory
    • Prepare sales forecasts for the territory
    • Maintain a robust sales pipeline across the different categories of products.
    • Develop and implement new programs, sales initiatives and strategies to capture key demographics

    Leadership

    • Be responsible for GMV, NMV, Revenue and Margin contributions of assigned territory to Sabi
    • Performance Management and Reporting
    • Drive performance management on the key performance indicators including demand, availability gaps, price achievement and profitability
    • Proactively provide visibility around sales, pipelines, strategic partnerships and targets through scheduled reports, stand up meetings etc.

    Relationship Management

    Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers

    Commercial Support

    Challenge and lead financial\commercial aspects of the territory business and ownership of existing and new business models.

    Job Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience of Sales of consumer electronics; mobile phones, electrical appliances and related products.
    • Strong field sales ability and experience.
    • Street smart and with a drive for sales
    • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to exert influence where necessary
    • Strong relationship management skills.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.
