Job Requirements and Duties

• Bachelor’s degree minimum, preferably in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or related field.
• Candidate must have a minimum of 7 - 10 years’ experience in concrete batching experience in concrete ready mix.
• Must be COREN registered.
• Must have considerable hands-on with Asphalt Plant
• Vast in all aspects of concrete batching technology, equipment, methods and safety is required.
• Working computer knowledge; including applicable Microsoft software.
• Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Oversee all plant operations; coordinate and monitor daily work load throughout the plant; monitor plant cleanliness.
• Oversee all electromechanical maintenance and mobilizing of the mobile concrete batch plant.
• Ensure that all products meet 100% total quality requirements; take samples and test as necessary; ensure all equipment is working properly; complete all required reports timely and accurately; inform proper personnel of any quality problems that need resolving.
• Maintain adequate levels of all supplies and products.
• Maintain accurate and current reports as required.
• Ensure that all company safety regulations and policies are followed at ALL times.
• Ensure that all company environmental regulations and policies are followed.

Job Requirements and Duties

• Carry out maintenance and repairs of machines to avoid breakdown
• Carry out maintenance/repairs of auxiliary equipment for the running of the machines
• Considerable hands on maintenance and repairs of automobiles, earthmoving/heavy-duty equipments, asphalt crusher plants
• Inspect power plant equipment and indicators to detect evidences of operating problems
• To carry out efficient breakdown troubleshooting/fault finding of machines and equipment
• To carry out the documentation of maintenance parameters for plant improvement

Requirements

• Min Required Experience: 5 year(s)
• A minimum of an OND in Mechanical Engineering
• Must be able to work with a team.
• Proven ability to work on Earthmoving equipment, crusher and asphalt plant.

The person must:

• Be energetic.
• Be able to troubleshoot mechanical faults on machines and equipment
• Have ability to use mechanical tools and instruments
• Have analytical and organizing skills
• Be safety conscious and pay attention to details
• Have good verbal and written communication skills

Job Details

• Proven ability to diagnose electrical problems on automobiles and earthmoving/heavy-duty equipment’s, asphalt and crusher plant.
• Considerable hands on repairs of automobiles, earthmoving/heavy-duty equipments, asphalt crusher plants.
• Testing of equipment repaired with a view to ascertaining the repaired status.
• Ensure the Company’s regulations on Health and Safety at are strictly adhered to.
• Ensure regular cleaning and orderliness of the workshop.

Requirements

• Min Required Experience: 5 years cognate experience
• A minimum of an SSCE or Trade Test 1 in Mechanical Engineering with verifiable practical experience
• Must be able to work with a team.

The Person must:

• Be energetic.
• Be able to troubleshoot electrical faults on machines and equipment

• Have analytical and organizing skills
