    Data Scientist

    Responsibilities

    • Develop data systems and data-driven solutions to drive company growth, spotting inefficiencies, and product quality)
    • Collaborate across the organisation and enable Moove to deliver improvements and optimisations based on data
    • Proactively plan and solve upcoming issues and technical challenges related to data
    • Educate yourself on advances in the fields related to data science and transportation

    Qualifications

    • A good first degree in related quantitative field e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science etc.
    • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position.
    • Solid understanding of data science process, statistics, and use of quantitative methods in business setting.
    • Experience in SQL and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau.
    • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages such as Excel, SPSS; SAS for analysing datasets.
    • Experience in Logistics and Tech industry. 
    • Start-up Experience

    Key Attributes & Skills:

    • Awareness of both business and technical aspects of data science
    • Proactive mindset, willingness to take initiative and work with little supervision
    • Great Excel skills

    Team Captain

    Role Description

    The Team Captain is responsible for monitoring and supporting drivers to ensure optimal driver performance and about 95% vehicle utilisation. 

    • Monitor drivers’ performance 

    • Conduct daily check-in on drivers’ pulse

    • Support drivers 

    • Solve drivers issues while drivers are in transit 

    • Receive inbound calls from drivers 

    • Make outbound calls to drives 

    • Conduct driver survey

    • Compile  data from driver survey 

    • Accountability of all Moove vehicles 

    • Ensure that drivers obey rules and regulations as laid down by the company.

    • Ensure that drivers get right information from the company.

    KPIs

    • 95% of assigned drivers work daily to achieve consistency in drivers’ performance.  

    • 95% of drivers meet KPIs

    • Response time to solving issues 

    • Escalate issues immediately

    Qualifications 

    • Degree in any discipline.

    • 1 year experience in customer care/support role.

    • Experience in the transportation industry is an added advantage.

    Country Ops. Manager

    Role Description

    The Country Operations Manager is responsible for leading the Country team to onboard, manage and support Drivers.

    • Set-up, Lead and Scale  Moove's business operations in the country

    • Manage and Coach the Operations  Team

      • Driver Verification & Onboarding

      • Driver Monitoring

      • Fleet operations

    • Craft and achieve business goals with regards to operational excellence, profitability, and great Driver experience.

    • Analyse metrics and implement projects & initiatives to improve operations and revenues. 

    • Work closely with General Manager West Africa and HQ teams to resolve any operational or product issues.

    • Manage Country Operations Metrics Dashboard

    • Lead daily Stand-ups to review Country Ops data and plan next course of action.

    KPIs

    • # of Drivers on-boarded

    • # of Supply Hours

    • Ratio of Women to Men Drivers

    • Driver Earnings

    • Driver Remittance as a % of Driver Earnings

    Qualifications 

    • A good first degree in any relevant field. MBA would be a plus.

    • A minimum of 5 years experience and at least 3 years experience in a management position.

    • Data-driven & analytical

    • Experience in Logistics and Tech industry. 

    • Start-up Experience

    • Great Excel skills
