    T&I Delivery / Domain Lead

    Position Summary

    The T&I Delivery / Domain Lead is a Partner-level role that owns end-to-end accountability for KPMG's largest and most complex multi-country Technology & Innovation engagements across Africa. This role serves as the commercial and delivery anchor of the T&I business - personally accountable for a portfolio of revenue, responsible for winning and leading large-scale transformation mandates, and for building the credibility of KPMG T&I as the clear choice for clients across financial services, telecoms, energy, and government. The Domain Lead is a critical enabler of the USD 100M run-rate target by FY28, carrying an individually accountable revenue target of USD 8–10M per year at steady state.

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    Revenue and Portfolio Ownership

    • Own a personally-accountable revenue target of USD 8–10M per year across a defined domain or geography, tracked monthly against the T&I investment thesis.
    • Lead pursuit of large multi-country deals from qualification through to contract signature, serving as the senior client-facing partner throughout the bid lifecycle.
    • Chair the internal deal review and investment committee process for all large deals within the portfolio, ensuring commercial discipline and margin protection before signing.
    • ·Develop and maintain executive-level client relationships (C-suite, Ministers, Board) across priority accounts within the assigned domain or geography.
    • ·Collaborate with Alliance Market Leads (Block D) to convert Microsoft, ServiceNow, SAP, and Oracle pipeline into signed, margin-protected engagements.

    Delivery Leadership and Margin Accountability

    • ·Take ultimate ownership of delivery outcomes on large engagements within the portfolio - not advisory oversight, but hands-on leadership of multi-disciplinary teams including KPMG professionals, alliance partners, and sub-consultants.
    • Work in close partnership with Program / Delivery Directors (Block C) and Architecture Leads (Block B) to maintain delivery quality, protect margins, and avoid escalations.
    • Enforce RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) discipline on all engagements, intervening early when delivery risk is identified.
    • Maintain gross margin targets of ≥30% across the personal portfolio, with accountability for remediation where margin falls below threshold.
    • Sign off on all scope change decisions, subcontractor engagements, and commercial variations on portfolio deals.

    Business and Capability Building

    • As a member of the T&I leadership team, contribute to the overall growth strategy, annual planning process, and headcount investment decisions.
    • Mentor and develop Managers, Senior Managers, and Directors within the T&I team, building the next generation of domain experts.
    • Contribute to thought leadership, industry events, and alliance partner engagements to raise KPMG's profile in the assigned domain.
    • Support the enablement and velocity programme (Block E) by codifying reusable assets, methodologies, and delivery patterns from portfolio engagements.
    • Participate in KPMG Pan-Africa T&I leadership forums and cross-member-firm collaboration initiatives.

    Requirements

    Academic/ Professional qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
    • Minimum 15 years of experience in technology consulting, with at least 5 years at Partner or equivalent level.
    • Proven track record of personally winning and delivering technology transformation mandates valued at USD 5M+ across multiple African markets.
    • Deep domain expertise in at least two of: enterprise platforms (SAP/Oracle/ServiceNow), cybersecurity, cloud/infrastructure, data & AI, or digital transformation.
    • Alliance credentials with Microsoft, ServiceNow, SAP, or Oracle preferred.

    ServiceNow SecOps / IRM Architecture Lead - Africa

    Position Summary The ServiceNow SecOps / IRM Architecture Lead is a Senior Manager-level role responsible for the technical architecture and pre-delivery governance of KPMG T&I's ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM) engagements. Given KPMG's Elite ServiceNow Partner status, the quality and credibility of KPMG's ServiceNow implementations is central to maintaining and growing alliance revenue.     Key roles and responsibilities:

    ServiceNow Architecture Design and Pre-Signing Quality (55%)

    • Lead the architecture and solution design for all major ServiceNow SecOps and IRM pursuits - ensuring designs are technically compliant, commercially viable, and deliverable before contracts are signed.

    Program / Delivery Director (Large Deals) - Africa

    Position Summary

    The Program / Delivery Director is an Associate director-level role accountable for the hands-on leadership and commercial management of KPMG T&I's largest, most complex multi-country delivery engagements. This role exists to prevent margin leakage as deal volumes grow - ensuring that large technology transformation programmes are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and at the quality standard required to sustain client relationships and KPMG's reputation. The Program Director is the primary owner of delivery outcomes on engagements valued at USD 5M+, working in close partnership with the Domain Lead, Architecture Leads, and PMO team to maintain programme health.

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    Programme Leadership and Delivery Ownership (60%)

    Key roles and responsibilities:

    Cyber Pipeline Conversion and Revenue Ownership (45%)

    • Own a personally accountable cyber revenue target within the T&I business, with primary attribution to Microsoft Security and Cyber alliance-originated opportunities.
    • Lead all major cyber transformation pursuits from client qualification through to contract signature, serving as the most senior technical and commercial voice in client meetings.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with Microsoft's security partner team, cloud solution architects, and alliance managers to maintain a healthy joint pipeline.
    • Shape complex cyber mandates - SOC buildouts, IAM transformations, Zero Trust programmes - into commercially viable, KPMG-deliverable propositions.
    • Collaborate with the Alliance Market Lead – Microsoft (Block D) to ensure all cyber pipeline is progressed with the appropriate commercial rigour and bid investment.

    Delivery Leadership (35%)

    • Lead the delivery of large-scale cybersecurity transformation programmes, including oversight of multi-disciplinary delivery teams, alliance partner resources, and specialist subcontractors.
    • Personally accountable for delivery quality, client satisfaction, and margin on all cyber mandates within the portfolio.
    • Enforce RAID discipline and escalation protocols on all engagements; intervene early on commercial or technical risk.
    • Maintain a library of KPMG-owned cyber delivery assets, methodologies, and accelerators - working with Block E to codify and scale these.
    • Represent KPMG T&I as the senior technical authority in client steering committees and executive project boards.

    Market and Alliance Development (20%)

    • Contribute to KPMG's cybersecurity thought leadership, publishing insights, speaking at industry events, and building KPMG's profile in the African cyber community.
    • Support the development of go-to-market propositions with Microsoft that differentiate KPMG in the African market.
    • Mentor and develop the cybersecurity capability within the broader T&I team, building delivery depth and technical credibility.
    • Contribute to the annual T&I planning process with pipeline forecasts, headcount recommendations, and market intelligence.

    Requirements

    Academic/ Professional qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certification required.
    • Microsoft Security certifications (SC-100, SC-200 or equivalent) strongly preferred.
    • Minimum 12 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a client-facing consulting or advisory role.
    • Proven experience delivering cybersecurity transformation programmes (SOC, IAM, Zero Trust, Cyber Resilience) for major enterprise or government clients in Africa.
    • Demonstrated track record of working within Microsoft's partner ecosystem to originate and deliver cyber solutions.

    Complex Deal / Solution Sales Lead - Africa

    Position Summary

    The Complex Deal / Solution Sales Lead is an Associate director-level role responsible for orchestrating KPMG T&I's most complex, high-value, multi-workstream deal pursuits from initial qualification through to commercial close. This role provides the bid management, commercial structuring, and pursuit leadership discipline that KPMG T&I requires to pursue and win large deals without compromising delivery quality or margin.     Complex Deal Pursuit Leadership (55%)

    • Lead the end-to-end pursuit of KPMG T&I's largest and most complex opportunities - managing the bid process from qualification decision through to commercial close.
    • Develop and implement winning bid strategies for complex, multi-workstream, multi-market T&I deals - coordinating internal KPMG teams, alliance partners, and subject matter experts.
    • Own the commercial structuring of complex deals - pricing models, risk allocation, contractual terms, and alliance subcontracting arrangements.
    • Manage the preparation of all major bid documents - proposals, responses to tenders, expressions of interest, and commercial presentations.
    • Lead or support KPMG's participation in formal procurement processes (RFPs, tenders, framework competitions) across government and corporate client segments.

    Pipeline Development and Qualification (30%)

    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of complex deal opportunities across the T&I portfolio - working with Domain Leads and Alliance Market Leads to identify, qualify, and prioritise pursuits.
    • Apply rigorous bid/no-bid discipline - ensuring KPMG only invests bid resources in pursuits with a realistic probability of success and acceptable margin profile.
    • Facilitate the T&I deal review process - running regular pipeline reviews with Domain Leads, documenting pursuit status, and tracking conversion rates.
    • Develop relationships with target clients and their procurement advisors to position KPMG early in complex procurement processes.
    • Build intelligence on competitive landscape for major T&I pursuits and develop differentiated win strategies.

    Bid Infrastructure and Capability (15%)

    • Develop and maintain KPMG T&I's bid management toolkit - proposal templates, pricing models, qualification frameworks, and win theme development processes.
    • Build KPMG T&I's bid capability by coaching Domain Leads, Architecture Leads, and Alliance Market Leads on best-practice pursuit and proposal development.
    • Collaborate with Block E (Enablement) to build a library of reusable proposal content, case studies, and CVs for use across multiple bids.
    • Track and report bid win rates, average deal size, and bid conversion metrics to the T&I leadership team.

    Requirements

    Academic/ Professional qualifications and Experience:

    • Relevant degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or a related field.
    • Formal bid management or sales certification preferred (e.g., Shipley, Miller Heiman, or equivalent).
