PURPOSE

• Benchmark in-process and finished products by ensuring that products conform to required specification.

THE JOB

• Report/Document all findings on the production and packaging line to Quality Assurance Officer.
• Confirm the Hygiene level of the personnel in the Packing Station and report all Non-Hygiene Rules. Generate and issue non-conformance form accordingly.
• Maintain Food Safety Management System and Quality Management System within the business unit
• Ensures that finished product (refined sugar) is packaged according to specification and Quarantine those products that are out of spec.
• Ensure that all scales at the packing station and control measures are working properly and records are maintained.
• Observe and ensure that in-process and finished product on the production line conforms to specification.

THE PERSON MUST

• Have strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards and stakeholders’ management abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
• Technical certification would be an added advantage.

PURPOSE

• To ensure software, systems and products meet the organization's quality standard requirements through the implementation of quality assurance strategies, development and execution of test plans to detect defects to operate efficiently and identify opportunities for improvement.

THE JOB

• To confirm adherence to factory’s Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) by all concerned through inspection of production, packaging and any other area within the premises where activities could pose a threat to food safety.
• Ensure all standard operating procedures of the refinery processes.
• Ensure compliance to specifications of refinery final products.
• Confirm that all cleaning schedules are followed, and reports of cleaning are maintained and are effective.
• Maintain a log of all customers complains.
• Follow up any customers complains and discuss matters that need attention or improvement with the QA Manager.

• To maintain the Quality Management System and ensure that all system documentations, procedures and quality records are timely updated and distributed.

THE JOB

• To confirm adherence to the factory’s Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) by all concerned through inspection of production, packaging and any other area within the premises where activities could pose a threat to food safety.
• Confirm that all cleaning schedules are followed, and reports of cleaning are maintained and are effective.
• Follow up on any customer complaints and discuss matters that need attention or improvement with the Compliance Manager.
• Take part in the preparation of internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Proper documentation, updating and distribution of all documents that relate to the installed management systems.
• Ensure compliance with QMS /FSMS requirements in the assigned work process.
• Carry out any other duty that may be assigned by the Compliance Manager.
