    UI/UX Designer

    Our client is a propriety investment group of company. They currently have an opening for a UI/UX Designer (Financial Services and Tech) in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering the best user experience across different application interfaces (both web and mobile), which ensures customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Investigating user experience design requirements for Firm’s suite of digital assets
    • Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive organization’s UI/UX design strategy which aligns with the overarching CX Strategy
    • Plan and implement new application user interface designs for both web and mobile solutions.
    • Optimize existing user interface designs
    • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
    • Create intuitive and user-friendly experience interfaces for all applications
    • Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives
    •  Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
    • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
    • Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes. Including page navigation buttons and search fields
    •  Preparing and presenting UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate functionalities to internal teams and key stakeholders before development commences.
    • Conducting layout adjustments based on user feedback
    •  Identifying and troubleshooting customer experience problems (e.g.responsiveness) during development and post-development
    •  Testing UI elements such as call to actions (CTA), banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages
    • Collaborating with the digital marketing team, and internal and externaL designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences across touchpoints for customers
    • Ensuring that all organization’s touchpoints project a uniform Brand look and feel
    • Assisting with post periodic post-development audit activities
    • Test new ideas before implementing
    • Conduct ongoing user research
    • Understanding, gathering and evaluating user/customer needs in collaboration with product managers and engineers
    • Interpret data and provide qualitative feedback
    • Create user stories, personas, and storyboards
    • Determine information architecture and create sitemaps

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in Design, Business or IT related discipline
    • Masters, MBA or a recognized professional certification will be an added advantage
    • 5+ work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
    • Portfolio of design projects
    • Up-to-date knowledge of design software
    • Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
    • Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch,InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Creative Suite
    •  Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
    • Analytical capabilities, strong writing skills and oral communication across business and technical stakeholders
    • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
    • Very good conceptual skills
    • Good interpersonal skills

    Executive Secretary to the Board of Directors

    Our Client is West Africa's biggest Telecommunication company. They are currently seeking a highly efficient individual to assist in the facilitation of board and committee meetings as well as other administrative duties as it relates to corporate governance in the position of an Executive Secretary to the Boards of Director.

    Responsibilities:

    • Preparation for meetings of multiple boards and committees, including drafting, reviewing and proofreading documents and handling document distribution, both hard copy and electronic, calendars, agendas, drafting minutes and other documentation as requested
    • Lead administrator for the Company’s board portal
    • Service of Process administration
    • Maintenance requests
    • Maintain Company records
    • Activities related to the annual meeting of stockholders

    Requirements:

    • Advanced technical and writing skills; legal and banking terminology experience is a plus; experience drafting minutes is also a plus
    • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and board portal experience a plus
    • Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, including executive management and board members
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy

    Lead, Product Development (Financial Services & Tech)

    Our client is a propriety investment group of company. They currently have an opening for a Lead, Product Development (Financial Services and Tech) in Lagos. The ideal candidate will spearhead the product’s strategy formation as well as execution. The candidate will also be responsible to create and manage a process that drives towards a scalable product portfolio that will in turn drive the organisation's  profitability.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The Lead, Product Development will have commercial accountability and will have responsibility for establishing the direction for the organisation's products, developing and driving the commercial strategy throughout POC to life cycle management stage. 
    • Establishes the methodologies and procedures for conducting research, design conceptualization, prototyping, and product development across the entire organisation's product team. 
    • Coordinates the functions of product design and product improvement, ensuring that the product resonates with the consumers and, therefore, boosting the product appeal to the consumers and in turn increasing the consumer base and sales volume.
    • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule in alignment with the organisation's product roadmap. 
    • Make creative recommendations to expand the organisation's product base and roadmap.
    • Ensure that various stages of product development are completed on time by leading, organizing and requesting constant updates from cross-functional teams.
    • Ensure that high standards of reliability, quality, usability and measurement are adhered to throughout each phase of product development.
    • Provide commercial input into the organisation's product development plan, commercial plans and other key decisions.
    • Actively supports the product marketing efforts, exhibitions, making speeches and presentations at conferences, meetings, and events.
    • Conduct other duties as deemed necessary in the effective performance of Lead Product Development role or as directed by Executive Management.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum of seven (7) years’ product management experience preferably as a Head of Product Management in a complex business setting.
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Have exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, creativity and problem solving capabilities.
    • Market and customer analysis skills with demonstrated willingness and capability to learn new areas quickly 
    • Demonstrated ability to formulate data-driven decisions that lead to results. Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value
    • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects. 
    • Exceptional leadership skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
