Job Description

• Operates a cash register.
• Communicates with customers, and assists other restaurant staff as needed.
• Processing credit card payments, accepting cash payments and making change, and using a point of sale (POS) system for transactions.
• Greeting guests, helping resolve customer complaints, and maintaining knowledge of the menu and sales policies.
• Responsible for counting the contents of the cash register drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals.
• Relay customers’ orders to the kitchen staff.
• Restaurant cashier will be responsible for computations and calculations of the cash in the registry.
• They will also keep safe checks that come in and out of the restaurant within the day.
• Their computation reports are required daily.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree  / HND / OND qualification with 1 - 3 years work experience.

Job Description

• Supervise staff daily activities and organise their schedules- Assistant Floor Manager, Waiters, Kitchen staff, Dispatch Rider, Receptionist, storekeeper, Dishwashers and Cleaners
• Train staff to perform allocated roles.
• Manage order inventory with the storekeeper so has to ensure effective communication with the Inventory officer and the Buyer/Purchaser.
• Ensuring Customer Satisfaction: Assist customers with any queries or requests.
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.
• Being updated on all relevant health department rules/regulations and ensuring adherence with all customer service guidelines.
• Maintain the back of the house and cellars to a high standard.
• Ensure all venues open on time and that they are ready for business.
• Ensure excellent front of house service, allocate and support staff throughout the shift to maintain speed of service and cleanliness of the venue
• Keep staff busy and productive at all times.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification with 2 - 5 years related work experience.
