    Consultant Radiologist

    Job Summary

    • This role is responsible for providing high quality clinical radiological service that supports the diagnosis and treatment of patients in the hospital.

    Key Result Areas (KRA)

    • Undertake and report on radiological diagnostic and interventional procedures where appropriate for expertise and when credentialing requirements are met.
    • Provide expert advice to referring clinicians on the most appropriate diagnostic investigations.
    • Evaluate patients' medical history to ensure medical imaging are safe for their health
    • Contribute to quality patient care by carrying out various medical imaging techniques to provide visual representations of specific human body in order to diagnose medical problems and monitor treatment.
    • To be able to suggest alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary.
    • Ability to use device such as computer tomography (CT) scanners and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines.
    • Communicating and discussing results and diagnosis with physicians.
    • Following medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations when necessary.
    • To be "on-call" or participate in shift rosters is a requirement of the position

    Requirements

    • Candidate must be licensed to practice medicine from the Nigerian Medical and Dental Association.
    • Candidates must possess a valid license with professional body to practice as a radiologist.
    • Must have at least 3-8 years' experience practicing as a consultant radiologist.
    • Candidate must be proficient in carrying out general radiology techniques such as X-Ray, MRI, and ultrasound.
    • Candidate must possess good patient management skills.

    Job Summary

    • We are looking to hire a Dentist to diagnose and advise our patients on various dental issues.
    • The ideal candidate will promote good oral health and help patients apply dental care.

    Key Result Areas (KRA)
    The key result areas of this role are:

    • To provide quality medical care to patients under the supervision of the HOD, Consultants and other senior medical staff.
    • Performing administrative duties and risk management.

    Consultant Ophthalmologist

    Job Summary

    • This role is responsible for clinical, managerial, financial aspects and clinical governance of the department. The Head of the Ophthalmology Department provides clinical leadership for all eye care delivers specialized eye care and provides expert ophthal advice.

    Key Result Areas (KRA)
    The key result areas of this role are:

    • Renewed glasses if necessary
    • Listen and respond immediately with an appropriate level of concern to all customer issues.
    • Educate and counsel patients on contact lens care, visual hygiene, lighting arrangements and safety factors

    Job Summary

    • This role is responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient care, providing necessary documentation on health reports and discharge summaries of patients. Liaising with consultants regarding the provision of inpatient and outpatient care including diagnosis and medication plans.

    • Minimum of 7 years cogent experience practicing as a general surgeon is required.
    • Relevant certifications or trainings as a general surgeon.
    • The candidate must have good hand-eye coordination, stamina and empathy for patients.
    • Candidate must have a working knowledge of global quality assurance, clinical audit principles and processes and must exhibit commitment towards continuous quality improvement.
    • Must have good communication skills and excellent decision making skills and possess the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
