    Project Manager

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Project Manager is expected  to guide key projects with the assigned portfolio to successful conclusion and develop a strong and pervasive project management discipline within project teams.

    KEY  RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure projects within portfolio are completed on time, on scope, and with a high degree of customer satisfaction
    •  Accountable for maintaining good communication lines for project performance report periodically, to support Line Business’ executive decision making
    • Collaborate with business line to ensure that all projects in assigned portfolio receive the required attention.
    • Engage C-level stakeholders regularly to ensure that projects are properly prioritized
    • Work with the Business Partner from the Financial Management group to establish targets for the fiscal year

    •  Identify gaps in knowledge and competency of Project Managers and suggest best approach to close them
    • Train/coach Project Managers/Interns on various aspects of the organization Products and Businesses
    • Draw up and implement road map for onboarding of new Project Managers Key Performance Indicator (KPI) setting and appraisals for direct reports and new Project Managers
    •  Ensure Project process review and improvement
    •  Coordinate elicitation exercises for Client solution requests with various SMEs and stakeholders
    • Prepare Business Requirements Documents or Statement of works.

    JOB PURPOSE

    To design, document and implement tests to expose bugs, and work with teams to checkmate the recurrence of errors in order to meet high quality standards.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Senior Operations Strategy Analyst is responsible for driving strategy and performance improvements across the Operations units of the Interswitch Backbone.

    Legal Operations Administrator

    JOB PURPOSE

    The Legal Operations Administrator is a role within the Legal Department with the responsibility for ensuring the Legal department operates effectively and efficiently within its prescribed procedures while meeting and exceeding timelines for the delivery of legal services across the Group. The role holder has overall responsibility for the Legal department’s technology, tools, processes, governance, policies and procedures, controls, training and continuous improvement.

    The role holder would be required to improve the existing frameworks and procedures for the effective and efficient management of the legal team.     Legal Counsel

    JOB PURPOSE

     To understand the pressure points, strategy and objectives of Interswitch and effectively communicate the risks and legal issues involved in any decision to
    management to enable them to make informed strategic choices within an acceptable legal risk profile. This role will be responsible for contracts review, intellectual property protection, litigation management, engagement with law enforcement authorities and other legal responsibilities as advised by the Senior Legal Counsel.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Legal Advice

    • Take responsibility for providing specific elements of the organisation's legal service with guidance from Senior Legal Officer.
    • Analyse specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.
    • Act as mentor and coach to team members while fostering an environment of mutual respect and trust among senior- level team members.

    Client and Customer Management (Internal / External)

    • Support internal customers and manage relationships with small clients while helping senior colleagues manage internal or external client relationships.

    • Experience in negotiating, drafting and advising clients on technology-related commercial contracts, including multi-jurisdictional transactions.
    • Experience of advising on data protection issues, marketing issues, consumer protection issues and information security issues.
    • Broad experience of intellectual property law.
    • Experience in advising on corporate governance and related documents (e.g. shareholders agreements, articles of association).
    • Comfortable advising senior management / company directors on corporate governance matters generally.

    Service Reconciliations Executive

    JOB PURPOSE

    To deliver standard business operations/monitoring services to retain existing customers in relation to reconciliation of internal systems and external systems.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Deliver standard business operations services to retain existing customers in relation to reconciliation of internal systems and external partner value delivery information.

    Transaction Reconciliation

    • Reconcile the amounts credited to Interswitch by settlement bank against what Interswitch debited itself to remit to card acceptors for the Co-acquiring services (VISA, Verve cross border, UPI, Discover, Amex, JCB etc)
    •  Reconcile transaction details from Card scheme against transaction details from Interswitch settlement reports for the Third-party processing services (GTB, ABP, EBN etc)
    •  Reconcile Independent Network Member transactions against details hosted within Interswitch (i.e. PTSPs, Terminal Owners) for resettlement where applicable.
    •  Reconcile transaction details from connected systems within a chain which come together to provide a service to ensure that processed transactions on all systems maintain the same information hence guarantying transaction integrity. i.e. Postilion switches, Product Platforms, 3rd Party Apps deployed at ISW (e.g. GMPP)
    • Reconcile transaction details between internal Interswitch systems and external value delivery systems for all transactions to allow for settlement adjustment where value has not been delivered as expected (Telcos, Billers, Financial institutions etc)

     Business Account reconciliation reporting

    •  Generate Account entries reports for the Finance Mgt team with respect to entries to be found in the suspense/operating accounts used for transaction processing (POS Settlement account, Co-acquiring settlement account, UPI settlement account, Verve global settlement account etc)

    Position Requirements

    Formal Education & Certification

    • University degree in the field of computer science or “STEM” major (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or related field, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

    Knowledge & Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design, information security and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure security and operations.
    • Extensive experience in information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance, and reliability
    • Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security
    • Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions.
    • Experience implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management or related technologies.

    Data Engineer

    JOB PURPOSE

    To understand data sets collected from different sources, to put them in a centralised data store ready for analytics and data science and to transform
    them for business intelligence or machine learning. To apply software engineering principles to ETL development using a new set of tools. To create
    and enhance products which benefit from the power of distributed processing. To understand the infrastructure and data architecture to identify reasons for successful and failed products.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     Data Architecture

    • Consult and educate stakeholders on methods for streamlining and standardising data recording to ensure quality and accuracy.
    • Develop, construct, test and maintain architectures, such as databases and large-scale processing systems to enable the usability, accessibility and
      transformation of data.
    • Collaborate with other Data Architecture teams within Interswitch to identify synergies and drive a cohesive approach to data governance and architecture across the payment processing.

    Performance Improvement through Business Intelligence

    • Support creation of machine learning algorithms by applying standard statistical analysis or data preparation methods.
    • Employ regression modelling to model the relationship between unique sets of data through statistically-proficient and engineering means. 
    • Study consumption trends and segmentation analysis to inform marketing and business performance metrics.
    • Narrow big datasets down to series of data that is presented to key business stakeholders.

    Internal Communications and Capability Building

    • Help others get the most out of internal communications systems by offering support and advice.
