    Safety and Security Assistant -Magumeri

    JOB PURPOSE

    • As part of the INTERSOS Security Team, this role provides support in the implementation of INTERSOS security policies, procedures, and security plans within the program implementation areas. The position contributes to ensuring the safety and security of staff, assets, and operations while supporting the continuity of humanitarian programs.

    REPONSIBILITIES

    • Liaise with local authorities, INTERSOS staff and facilitate continuity of INTERSOS Programs
    • Linking & networking with communities, individuals, organizations and to help ensure INTERSOS staff and assets’ security
    • Ensure the FSL project activities sites are safe for project implementation
    • Ensures all project assets are safe at the field and project site
    • Manage security guards at the project sites.
    • Assist Security Officer in staff safety and security matters and act as a backup security focal point
    • Ensure all vehicles are equipped with updated fire extinguishers, first aid kits and INTERSOS emergency numbers,
    • Ensure all safety protocols and policies are implemented following the safety instructions.

    Human Resource Assistant

    JOB PURPOSE

    • The Position holder will execute administrative tasks according to the HR Manager and HR Coordinator’s instructions and INTERSOS procedures. The role ensures full legal compliance with Nigerian local laws (Labor Act, Pension Act, etc.) and specific donor requirements (NHF, Medical, etc.).

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Being responsible for updating IMP HR database and personal files and keep them up to date in order to facilitate HR processes management. Archive the personnel (and volunteer) documentation and keep it in order.
    • Update NHF and Medical employee files to meet legal requirements and duties.
    • Being responsible for the hiring process of new staff (INTERSOS documentation, pension, medical certificate, health insurance and Group Life enrolment);
    • Liaise with the Logistics Dept. for the provision of badge to new staff and the management of Exit Clearance Form, ensuring that INTERSOS tools are properly given back.
    • Print and deliver monthly pay slips for all staffs.
    • Make all administrative information available to the staffs (posting, meetings, etc.);
    • Support the HR Manager and HQ for the preparation of personnel documentation for Audit purpose.
    • Enter the staff leave in the leave tracker, collect and check the time sheets against the leave tracker.
    • Take part in field visits, if required, to educate staff on HR rules and regulation and answer questions from staff (HR Related);
    • Support the HR Manager and the HR Coordinator in managing recruitment process (job advertisement, CV screening, organization of test and interview)
    • Update relevant HR databases and personal files and keep them up-to-date in order to facilitate HR process management.

    Case Worker Team Leader-Roving - Maiduguri

    JOB PURPOSE

    • The position holder will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of Case Workers, ensuring that principles of case management are respected and that quality services are guaranteed to persons with concerns of protection. Support and coach Case Workers throughout the case management process and directly handle complex vulnerable cases as needed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure Case workers can provide support to beneficiaries in their journey of recovery by providing basic emotional support
    • Train and coach, the case workers in basic counselling, communication and listening skills
    • Under the supervision of the Technical Manager - Protection, conduct weekly case conferences to discuss difficult cases and raise critical cases to the Protection Coordinator
    • Support the planning, implementation and reporting of the activities, as well as ensuring the well-being and positive working environment for all members of the team.
    • Support positive team dynamics providing support and space for case workers to express emotions and experiences within the case management team
    • Ensure the quality, regular and timely follow up of the open cases and the implementation of the action plan
    • Meet regularly with Technical Manager - Protection to discuss ongoing issues and strategy for the team
