    Technician

    Basic Responsibility

    • Support the Maintenance Manager in providing timely service support for technical problems, monitoring, testing, and demonstrations that result in minimizing downtime, reducing costs or promoting our product capabilities in the case of a test or demo.
    • Also responsible for supportingin troubleshooting, repairing and installing parts as needed to maintain the equipment.

    Accountability & Responsibility
    Scope of Accountability:

    • Align action plans, activities, and scope with the Aftersales Strategy set by the Maintenance Manager
    • Develop and execute customer engagement, sales and service strategies

    Main Responsibilities
    Duties include, but not limited to the following:

    • Supervision and providing technical support to the technicians/customers in the form of troubleshooting either by phone or on site
    • Supplying parts information in the form of suggested stocking guide
    • Providing warranty support, evaluating and validating claims, discussing issues with the Maintenance Manager and submitting service reports
    • Primary training contact on equipment operation and proper use; leading the training for customers on all relevant features and benefits of using our products
    • Customising solutions to address issues specific to customers
    • Set-up and monitoring of new or improved components testing
    • Communicating service and other relevant activities to Customer and Maintenance Manager through daily service reports or relevant forms, email and telephone communication
    • Keep and improve the customer satisfaction of current key customers
    • Co-ordinate the training of technicians and ensure their competencies matches or exceeds the OEM standards and expectations
    • Analyse service reports to assess the performance of all equipment sold by HMD Ghana

    Key Performance Indicators

    • Return On Investment (ROI) of Engineering and Service Activities (Achieved v/s Planned)
    • Customer satisfaction
    • Timely Completion of Equipment repairs and tasks

    Required Profile
    Education:

    • Diploma /Degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Engineering having a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, knowledge of inventory control, analysing the most recurrent failures and provide solutions to Sites and make continuously follow up on the improvement

    Experience:

    • 3 years of professional experience in similar role
    • Country Experience is a major plus; Machinery Experience (or B2B company) is a major plus
    • Experience working with mining machinery, preferably excavators, wheel loaders and dump trucks (a strong technical background is desired)
    • Technical sales experience in a Dealership environment, preferably selling solutions to mining and construction customers
    • Initiative – a desire to take responsibility for a region and drive progress
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving ability
    • Commitment to providing quality customer service, on a consistent basis
    • Ability to handle and work under pressure, and prioritise workflow
    • Solid report writing ability and computer literacy.

    Technical Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of Maintenance Systems’ and execution
    • Good Planning, Prioritizing, & Organizing skills, with strong Follow-up
    • Effective Time Management with demonstrated ability to manage people and tasks effectively.
    • Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills, with ability to prepare Weekly/Monthly Presentations and Reports
    • Strong computer skills (use of Microsoft Office Products- Word, Excel, Power Point…)
    • Good Negotiation Skills

    Sales Advisor

    Basic Responsibility

    • To promote and sell HMD’s product portfolio to existing and new clients,
    • Establish and maintain relationship with clients by means of calling and visiting.

    Accountability & Responsibility
    Scope of Accountability:

    • To effectively promote sales of the HMD’s heavy construction equipment and machinery.
    • Plan and implement customer call program to cover the entire HMD’s mining, construction equipment and machineries, Forestry, Material and Transportation product range such as Doosan Excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks, Bomag Rollers, Bobcat Backhoes and skid steers, Carmix concrete mixers and Iveco trucks with the assigned territory.
    • Consistently maintaining the existing client database within the company’s core values.
    • Coordinate with After Market, & Rental teams to achieve business objectives.
    • Be abreast with our product portfolio.

    Main Responsibilities
    Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Meeting the customers and giving product presentations
    • Negotiating and convincing the customers to buy the products
    • Making cold calls to find the prospective customers and recommending standard products to the customers.
    • Also, performing the job of selling maintenance and repair services to the prospective clients.
    • Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals by developing action plans and schedules to identify specific sales prospects, targets, and/or markets and to project number of contacts to be made.
    • Actively use territory management tools to prospect, source and maintain quality customers in assigned area.
    • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity and Keeping records of customer follow ups
    • Actively engage in collecting the receivables
    • Gathering intelligence data from competition and forwarding to the sales manager so that effective strategies can be decided upon.
    • Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries.
    • Study customer needs and coordinate customer service.
    • Prepare for and attend exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional, and national promotional opportunities.
    • Maintain a professional image always through personal actions and initiatives.
    • Enhance the company’s reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company’s core values.
    • Update job knowledge for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations.
    • Prepare reports as assigned relative to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against budget.

    Required Profile

    Market Intelligence Specialist

    Job Scope

    • Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation Develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.

    Duties / Responsibilities

    • Collect and studyinformation about: Competitors, pricing, Market segmentation, products, Customers and Sales trends
    • Summarize and analyses data and make recommendations
    • Conduct survey, focus groups, personal interviews, and observations using the appropriate research tools.
    • Acquire, organize, analyse, disseminate, and monitor information on markets, clients, competitors, specific projects, technology, and legislative developments to the sales team and management.
    • Obtain data to support the forecasting of big deals and tracking of markets and trends to prevent lost deals.

    Requirements and Skills

    • Excellent creative and strategic abilities.
    • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
