    Retail Sales Representative

    Retail Sales Representative

    Responsibilities

    • Greet customers when they enter and leave the establishments.
    • Provide them with accurate information in response to customers queries.
    • Compare prices and features across products to help customers buy better to their requirements.
    • Cross-sell products.
    • Maintain an inventory and ensure that stocks are always full.
    • Help customers with returns and exchange of products.
    • Collaborate with fellow employees to provide high-quality customer service.
    • Explain and tell customers about discounts and offers currently going on.
    • Constantly replenish information on all products/merchandise such as price, features, after-sales service, etc.

    Requirements

    • SSCE/WASC
    • 1 – 3 years work experience.
    • Prior experience as a sales representative or similar roles.
    • Excellent record of achieving targets and quota
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Multi tasking ability and organisational skills.
    • Basic knowledge of computers and inventory software.

    Procurement Officer Supermarket & Stores

    Job Description

    • Manage the purchase of grocery items
    • Ensure goods purchased are in accordance with specified requirements and match given specifications.
    • Advise on methods to improve receiving, storing, inventory and distributing materials and supplies; and maintain stock control records.
    • Verify quantities of goods delivered, inspect for damage; and sign delivery tags
    • Warehousing and inventory control
    • Prepare and maintain records concerning the receipt and issuance of materials
    • Asset management
    • Confer with user departments and provide cost information for budgeting purposes
    • Negotiate for favourable terms for purchase, e.g. discounts and credit, and follow up with the Finance Department to ensure that payments are made to the suppliers promptly.
    • Ensure goods purchased are delivered to the appropriate location and/or person(s) in a timely manner, providing continuous feedback to the Procurement and Logistics Manager
    • Receive delivery of materials into the store
    • Perform any other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of OND. in relevant field.
    • 2 - 3 years of relevant procurement experience specifically in grocery items.
    • Excellent sourcing and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently
    • Working knowledge of the principles and practices of established storekeeping procedures, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and supplies, and of standard inventory methods and techniques.
    • Well developed computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office suites.
    • Ability to maintain a computer inventory control system and analyze pertinent factors such as usage patterns, stock availability, shelf life related to stocking minimum and maximum levels.
    • Report to supervisor on variances and status on regular basis.
    • Resourceful in gathering and providing information.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Cashiers

    Job Description

    • Handles cash, credit , POS, electronic transfer or checks transactions with customers
    • Scans goods and collect payments
    • Ensures pricing is correct
    • Issues change and receipts
    • Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct
    • Bags items carefully
    • Maintains clean and tidy checkout areas
    • Bag, box or wrap packages
    • Pleasantly deals with customers to ensure satisfaction
    • Perform any other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Candidates should possess minimum of SSCE/WASC qualification with minimum of 1 year work experience.
