    Operations Lead (Apollo)

    Responsibilities:
    Operations 50%

    • Oversees Project Apollo operations including working with the CEO to include ongoing training and coaching on specific issues, e.g., personnel, BME, doctors, Medical Sales Reps (MSR) or leased asset issues, expenditures, or compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Ensures that Project Apollo meets all SLA provisions for leased assets and takes preventive measures where there is the likelihood of defaults
    • Develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive preventative maintenance programs
    • Develops annual operating budgets and monitors operational expenses on a regular basis and implements strategies to ensure expenditures remain within prescribed budgets
    • Manages service contract negotiations, and implements purchasing and expense control strategies to help them to stay competitive within the market
    • Oversees in-house platform of  BMEs, technicians, sonographers and radiologists and maintenance techs
    • Takes responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the healthcare facilities and diagnostics centres where leased assets are housed
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organisation's policies and applicable laws
    • Manages asset improvement/replacement/upgrade projects as well as civil works to bring medical devices to full operational status, ensuring completions are on time and on budget and in accordance with OEM specifications, guidelines/standards and customer requirements
    • Working in close collaboration with the CEO, is responsible for the financial performance of the leased assets.
    • Reviews, analyzes, interprets, and summarizes annual operating budgets, monthly financial and progress reports and annual audited financial statements for all projects related to Property Management.
    • Implements and oversees systems for cost control.

    Asset Management 40%

    • Facilitates and coordinates on-going professional communications with clients to ensure service requests are responded to in accordance with best practices and that all healthcare facility activities in relation to leased assets are carried out in compliance with lease agreements and in the best interests of the assets and the company
    • Maintains an updated schedule of leased assets complete with location, SLA performance, lease duration, status and physical condition etc
    • Ensures all agreements and documents are in compliance with rules and regulations outlined by other entities (such as by the State Governments, healthcare regulators etc)
    • Plays a key leadership role in combining sound asset management principles with a commitment to providing supportive services to property and operations managers and staff and collaborates with General Manager to assure this connection
    • In conjunction with asset management staff, responsible for assuring excellent physical condition of leased assets
    • Compiles, prepares and presents the delivery of written and/or oral reports to CEO ability to document processes and actions taken for further learning as well as presentation skills are very critical
    • Overall responsibility for ensuring that leased assets deployed and and/or managed remain fiscally sound, affordable and well maintained, and that they feature a comprehensive healthcare facility services component

    Business Development and Sales 10%

    • Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long-range goals and objectives
    • Collaborates with the CEO on new project development activity and client portfolio refinancing
    • For new projects, assisting with the management contracts, initial budgets, and site planning for optimal long-term asset performance
    • Works with the CEO and on the implementation of marketing and leasing efforts
    • Researches, investigates, analyses affordable medical devices leasing trends and developments, and in accordance with these trends/developments, prepares forecasts, action plans and recommendations for the company
    • Supports the CEO in executing, and evaluating new/existing property management contracts ensuring proper staffing, funding, building/equipment safety and regulatory compliance.

    Qualifications

    • A thorough understanding of the medical devices/equipment space and the players in that space
    • 5-7 years' experience in leasing operations and property/asset/fleet management of industrial assets, coupled with at least 3 years supervisory/management experience preferably in the healthcare sector
    • Thorough knowledge of general maintenance procedures, budgeting principles, HVAC/electrical/mechanical systems and life-cycle costing
    • Must be based in Lagos
    • Proven ability to direct project activities, lead by example, formulate and execute company-wide goals and objectives and assess achievement
    • Proven evidence of working in a start-up environment
    • Experience in a leadership role in the equipment leasing business (strongly preferred)
    • Computer proficiency MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Google Suite (Slides, Docs and Sheets)
    • Evidence of leading with respect and consideration for all team mates and proven mentorship abilities

    Finance Manager (Rural Farmers Hub)

    At Rural Farmers Hub, our vision is to create innovation and access to every farmer in Africa. We accomplish this by developing and distributing precision management solutions for crop health & soil quality that benefits small farmers, plantations, and out-growers.

    Role Summary
    Rural Farmers Hub is looking for a Finance Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team who will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operations Officer and the Chief Technology Officer, to drive high-growth (30 to 50X) of the business and into multiple geographies. S/he will play a vital & strategic role in leading the planning, execution & management of the finance, accounting, people, culture, legal, commercial, compliance, risk management, business continuity & internal operations across the company’s global operations, which are all important to set up the business for sustainable growth. S/he Manager will work closely with the CEO and COO to report on business & financial performance to the Board and its subcommittees. S/he will also manage the commercial aspects to support the company’s growth & expansion.  S/he will also work closely with the CEO on the fundraising process including deal room execution & due diligence.     Responsibilities

    • Financial & management accounting management across multiple geographies, with reporting functions for internal & external purposes.
    • Comprehensive budgeting with close tracking & active cashflow management.
    • Preparing board decks and reporting to the Board on business performance, risk and all other matters relevant to the Board.
    • Preparing annual financial statements & managing the full audit process.
    • Financial analysis, and incorporating data analytics in reporting to support decision making.   
    • Ensuring 100% tax and other statutory compliance at all times across all geographies.
    • Capacitating the people & culture functions with scale in mind.
    • Managing legal engagements across various legal requirements, including helping to secure Rural Farmers Hub’s intellectual properties (IP).
    • Managing the commercial functions including pricing across multiple revenue streams & customer deal negotiations, in conjunction with the growth team.
    • Ensuring 100% compliance with various requirements to operate in each geography.
    • Creating, executing & managing the risk management function whilst ensuring company-wide training to ensure risk is managed actively.
    • Crafting & executing business continuity plans.
    • Managing internal operations that support across multiple functions.

    Key Requirements

    • Chartered Accountant
    • Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience, experience in accounting, logistics or supply chain industry preferable.
    • Experience working in a start-up or high growth business would be preferable.
    • Strong planning & execution skills.
    • Experience hiring & managing subordinate teams.
    • Hands-on approach & problem-solving abilities critical.
    • Experience with accounting software & other reporting tools  dashboards, data visualisation tools such as power BI, cliqview or equivalent & other reporting tools.  
    • Strategic view of finance & accounting with ability to dive into the details.
    • Passion for technology & logistics with high propensity to learn quickly.
    • Creative problem solving & ability to handle high levels of pressure.
