    Sales & Marketing Manager

    Our client is a fast growing agricultural production and food processing company with their major operations in Nigeria. They currently have an opening for a Sales & Marketing Manager with experience handling sales within South - South or South - East region in Nigeria.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Plan and set a target for the sales team to enable them to continually achieve focus, alignment and rapid sales.
    • Managing stockists, agents and distributors.
    • Providing support to maximise sell-through of the product.
    • Designing programs to incentivize maximum performance.
    • Reviews terms of engagement to adapt to changing market situations
    • Opening markets in new Nigerian states and other countries.
    • Coordinate and organize the sales team so as to enable them to work together effectively and hit sales targets.
    • Develop systematic, repeatable strategies for penetrating new markets and moving new products.
    • Report on trends in sales and making recommendations and implementing actions to ensure proactiveness in sales.
    • Keeping a pulse on the market for pricing trends, product specification trends, competitor activities and more.
    • Bring the voice of the market into new product development strategies and processes.
    • Develop a strategic business operational plan outlining the strategy for outreach and advertising to reach our target market.
    • Develop a plan for a marketing budget to enable management act on marketing based on ROI
    • Develop customer profiles and ensure resolution of customer complaints in a meticulous and logical manner.
    • Carry out surveys to get intelligence and insights from customers.
    • Management of product returns.
    • Estimate future sales by carrying out sales forecasting.

    Requirements

    • HND or BSC in Marketing or any other related field
    • Certification in Marketing is an added advantage
    • Considerable years of experience in the marketing and sales of products
    • Experience in nationwide distribution of products (experience from FMCG sector preferred)
    • Great understanding of sales theories is key
    • Great understanding of marketing theories is also important
    • Proficiency in Microsoft packages is much desired

    Job Overview

    The Compliance Manager will be responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance program throughout the organization is effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, detecting, and correcting non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Compliance Manager will provide reasonable assurance to senior management that there are effective and efficient policies and procedures in place, well understood and respected by all employees, and that the firm is complying with all regulatory requirements.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Evaluate current and new securities laws and regulations, federal and state, as applicable
    • Conduct periodic risk assessments, testing, and response plans
    • Develop, review, revise, implement and update compliance policies and procedures based upon changing business practices, regulatory or legal requirements
    • Design and monitor control systems to detect, prevent and deal with violations of law, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
    • Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements
    • Coordinate with all department heads to align compliance policies and procedures to operations
    • Perform the annual compliance review of the firm
    • Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues
    • Enforce standards and promptly respond to detected offenses, develop corrective action, and report findings to Management and other interested parties as required
    • Responsible for reviewing, updating, and testing the firm’s Disaster Recovery Plan
    • Oversee monitoring of trade compliance, reporting, and other related activities

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in any field of study (MBA a significant plus)
    • Must be SEC sponsored
    • A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Compliance Officer, Compliance Manager, or similar position
    • Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations (SEC and state, as applicable, to investment advisers)
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
    • An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills
    • Strong Excel skills at a moderately advanced level with the ability to utilize many of Excel’s various functions in the accomplishment of routine tasks that require comparative or logical analysis
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Strong work ethic

    Portfolio Manager

    Our client is an asset management company with a team of experienced industry expert. They currently have an opening for a Portfolio Manager.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Follow a predetermined strategy for investment, dictated by an investment policy statement (IPS), to achieve a client's investment objectives
    • Work with investment analysts and researchers to gain a better understanding of market conditions and domestic and global developments that may impact client account balances or future investments.
    • Directs all the trades the investment fund or portfolio makes during the day by making final decisions on the securities involved
    • Makes the ultimate decision on what securities to buy or sell based on recommendation
    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of market conditions, trends, and overall economic outlook
    • Meet with high-level investors and potential investors in person or over the phone
    • Perform an interview to fully understand a client's investment needs and ensure those needs are met
    • Primarily responsible for creating and managing investment allocations for private clients
    • Buy and sell securities in an investor's account to maintain a specific investment strategy or objective over time
    • Determine client's appropriate level of risk based on the client's time horizon, risk preferences, return expectations and market conditions
    • Periodically evaluate the performance of predetermined investment packages, as well as meet standards provided by regulatory organizations

    Requirements

    • Must have a B. Sc in any field of study (MBA is an added advantage)
    • Must be SEC sponsored
    • Must have at least 4 years of experience working in Financial Services or Investment firm with tangible experience providing portfolio recommendations to clients or in-depth financial or market analysis
    • CFA certified or any other related certification is a plus.
    • Certification in Finance Risk Management very desired
    • Must be highly efficiency in data interpretation and a penchant for research and analysis
    • Must have in-depth understanding of financial markets, economics, and portfolio theory
    • Must be customer-focused, with a desire and ability to communicate frequently with investor clients regarding their accounts and investment performances
