    Business Unit Head - Delta

    Salary: 300,000 net

    Job Summary:

    The Business Unit Head will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, managing collections, and leading a high-performance team. This role demands a strategic thinker and effective leader with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and financial performance management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Strategy & Execution

    • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
    • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to design and execute impactful promotional campaigns and go-to-market strategies.

    Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to drive performance and ensure goal attainment.
    • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and provide coaching for continuous improvement.

    Collections & Receivables Management

    • Oversee the collections process to ensure the timely collection of outstanding payments.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and improve cash flow.
    • Monitor accounts receivable, identify trends, and provide detailed collection reports and analysis to senior management.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Conduct regular client visits to strengthen relationships and gain insights into client needs and satisfaction.
    • Address client concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
    • Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key clients to drive retention and loyalty.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales leadership, business development, or commercial management, preferably in a B2B or refrigeration and electronics sector.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and improving collection cycles.
    • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
    • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

    Lab Technician

    Location: Orlu and Owerri

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various construction-related laboratory tests, including soil, asphalt, concrete, and field tests, ensuring that all results comply with applicable construction standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    •  Perform a wide range of laboratory tests, including tests on concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates, ensuring compliance with construction standards.
    • Assist in secondary testing related to permeability, strength, and materials acceptance of soil, concrete, and asphalt.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records for samples and tests according to applicable construction standards.
    • Compile, input, and report testing results accurately.
    • Ensure the laboratory is in compliance with accreditation standards.
    • Record and maintain equipment calibration and verification logs.

    Qualifications 

    • For Laboratory Technicians and Senior Laboratory Technicians:
    • Degree/HND in Civil Engineering/Technology, Geosciences, or related field is required.
    • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant working experience in a construction laboratory, particularly in soil, asphalt, concrete, and field tests.
    • Computer proficiency is mandatory for Senior Laboratory Technicians.

    Key Skills

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests and recording results.
    • Good understanding of construction laboratory operations and test methodologies.
    • Proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment and tools.
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
    • Computer skills for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
