    Job Summary

    • The Instrumentation & Control Engineer is responsible for the technical integrity, accuracy, and completeness of all instrumentation and control engineering deliverables across project phases. The role ensures robust design, proper safeguarding philosophy, and full cross-discipline coordination from concept through detailed engineering.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    Technical Ownership & Engineering Assurance

    • Own the technical accuracy and completeness of all instrumentation and control deliverables prior to issue.
    • Ensure early detection and correction of design errors before client submission or procurement impact.
    • Perform comprehensive Inter-Discipline Checks (IDCs) to resolve design conflicts, gaps, and inconsistencies across engineering disciplines.

    Control, Instrumentation & Safety Systems Design

    • Develop and maintain Instrumentation Philosophies covering:
    • Prepare control and safeguarding narratives aligned with project requirements and safety standards.

    Engineering Specifications & Deliverables

    • Prepare instrumentation specifications
    • Develop instrument deliverables including:

    Control System Design & Documentation Review

    • Review instrumentation and control drawings
    • Review and validate tagging on P&IDs for consistency and completeness

    Calculations & Engineering Analysis

    • Prepare engineering calculation sheets and supporting spreadsheets
    • Perform utility consumption calculations including:
    • Validate instrumentation sizing and system requirements where applicable

    Procurement & Tender Support

    • Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for instrumentation, control systems, and panels
    • Support tendering activities with technical input and equipment scope definition
    • Assist in technical evaluation of vendor bids

    Documentation & Configuration Control

    • Maintain full traceability of all engineering deliverables, revisions, mark-ups, and approvals
    • Ensure all documents are correctly stored in SharePoint in line with company document control standards
    • Guarantee 100% compliance with version control and approval workflows

    Cross-Discipline Collaboration

    • Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, and electrical disciplines
    • Resolve technical interface issues across engineering systems
    • Ensure alignment between process intent and control philosophy

    Engineering Quality & Safety Compliance

    • Ensure all designs comply with relevant international standards and codes (IEC, ISA, API, ISO, etc.)
    • Participate in safety reviews including HAZOP, SIL, and F&G studies
    • Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements in all deliverables

    Education and Work Experience

    • B.Eng. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related engineering discipline
    • M.Sc. in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Automation, or related field (added advantage)
    • Professional registration with NSE and/or COREN (required)
    • Minimum of 10 years’ office-based Instrumentation & Control engineering experience in oil & gas or EPC/engineering services environment
    • Proven delivery of I&C design packages across:
    • Experience across upstream, midstream, and/or downstream projects
    • Demonstrated ability to conduct and sign off Inter-Discipline Checks (IDC) and design reviews
    • Experience supervising, reviewing, and mentoring junior engineers
    • Strong exposure to safety-critical systems (SIS, FGS, DCS/PLC environments)

    Process Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, accuracy, and completeness of all process engineering deliverables across project phases. The role focuses on proactive design validation, cross-discipline coordination, and ensuring that all process outputs meet project, client, and regulatory requirements before issuance.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    Technical Ownership & Quality Assurance

    • Own and ensure the technical accuracy and completeness of all process engineering deliverables prior to issue.
    • Identify and resolve design errors, inconsistencies, and omissions at the engineering stage to prevent downstream rework.
    • Perform detailed Inter-Discipline Checks (IDCs) to eliminate conflicts between process, piping, mechanical, and instrumentation designs.

    Process Design & Engineering

    • Develop process engineering deliverables across all project phases: feasibility, conceptual design, FEED, and Detailed Engineering Design (DED).

    Operations Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing operations, activities, and projects out of Warri and its surrounding areas. This role ensures that all operations meet client specifications, adhere to international engineering standards, and are delivered safely within the approved budget and schedule.
