    Grant, Fundraising, and Partnership Officer

    Role Overview:

    • We are looking for an experienced Grant, Fundraising, and Partnership Officer who will drive the organization’s fundraising and partnership efforts. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of fundraising strategies, identify grant opportunities, and build sustainable partnerships that further our mission.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement fundraising strategies aligned with CHDFNigeria’s goals.
    • Identify and secure grant opportunities, and write high-quality proposals.
    • Build and manage relationships with donors, grant bodies, and partners.
    • Work collaboratively with the CHDFNigeria team to ensure compliance with grant conditions.
    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of fundraising activities.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant qualifications or certifications in fundraising and grant management (essential).
    • At least 2-3 years of experience in securing grants or fundraising for NGOs.
    • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management skills.
    • Strong proposal writing skills and familiarity with the grant application process.
    • Preference for candidates based in Lagos or Ogun states, but exceptional applicants from other states will also be considered.

    Volunteer Administrative & Communications Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
    • Assist in managing CHDFNigeria’s communications, newsletters, and public relations activities.
    • Support event coordination and ensure smooth communication with stakeholders.
    • Contribute to the development of communication materials that align with CHDFNigeria’s mission and values.

    Key Requirements

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
    • Passionate about heart health advocacy and making a difference.
    • Prior experience in communications or administration is a plus but not essential

You will ensure our financial operations are compliant with relevant regulations and assist in preparing financial statements and tax filings. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in finance, accounting, or taxation who wants to contribute their skills to a meaningful cause.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day accounting activities.
    • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with Nigerian tax regulations.
    • Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with legal financial obligations, including filing annual returns and audit requirements.
    • Assist with budgeting and financial planning.

    Key Requirements

    • Experience in finance, accounting, or tax management.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and financial compliance.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to commit 5 hours weekly to the role.
