    Data Entry Operator

    MISSION AND MAIN ACTIVITIES

    The Data Entry Operator is responsible for Carrying out all activities related to entry of medical data into the mission database, according to ALIMA protocols and maintaining confidentiality, in order to have reliable and up to date information.

     MISSION AND PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

    • Enter medical data (e.g. patient data, dates of visit, content of prescription, viral load, etc.) in mission’s database on a regular basis and according to ALIMA protocols.
    • Participate in compilation of data both from ALIMA structures and from collaborating health facilities.
    • Participate in the search for missing data.
    • Update files of existing patients and make any corrections needed.
    • Make regular back-ups of all data processed.
    • Look after all equipment provided and keep recording area clean and tidy, giving special importance to all patient files.
    • Report any issue concerning data management to superior 
    • Elaborate statistical reports when required by the medical team.
    • Ensure, promote and maintain confidentiality regarding all information registered.

    You must meet the following Requirement:

    • Education: Diploma in Statistics, Lab. tech, and similar field of study.
    • Experience: Essential 1 year experience in Data entry. Experience with NGO desirable.
    • Languages: English language essential. Local language desirable.
    • Knowledge: Strong Computer skills (word, excel, access). Able to learn and use software used for recording (i.e. EpiData, EpiInfo, DHIS etc.). Desirable knowledge on medical statistics data bases.

    Pharmacy Technician

    MISSION AND MAIN ACTIVITIES

    The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for Executing the pharmacy/medical warehouse storing activities in order to keep pharmacy stock above security level and following recommended conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.) under the supervision of the Pharmacy supervisor or the Medical Referent, and in collaboration with the logistics team.

    MISSION AND PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

    • Supervise material orders and dispatching in order to ensure rational use.
    • Receive orders and deliveries, identifying potential disparities against cargo manifest or others and reporting them, and stores materials in accordance with the system in force, in order to ensure continuous availability.

    This includes: 

    • Ensure correct fill in entries on the stock cards and software
    • Prepare orders of the different consumption units (departments, wards, other), ensuring the packaging and proper dispatching. reporting any anomalies or changes in consumption patterns to the Pharmacy Supervisor. Also inform Pharmacy Supervisor as soon as stock reaches alert limit
    • Carry out or participate in regular inventories including EPREP stock and close monitoring to avoid items expiring in it.
    • Report missing material/ damage/ robbery to the Pharmacy Supervisor.
    • Control warehouse limited access to only authorized personnel and ensure doors and other exits are secured.
    • Ensures good storage conditions of all items in the pharmacy.
    • Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and tracking pharmaceutical 
    • Receive and verify deliveries.
    • Pick and pack orders accurately.
    • Control warehouse facilities in order to ensure materials good keeping conditions. It includes: 
    • Monitor temperature in the warehouse and ensure that products requiring cold chain are suitably stored and transports received and prepared appropriately according to ALIMA Supply and Cold Chain protocols
    • Ensure cleanliness of premises (stock pharmacy) Ensure proper storage conditions for pharmaceutical products and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
    • Maintain refrigerating equipment in close collaboration with the logistics department.
    • Follows up stock levels with regards to alarms thresholds, stock out, expiry dates and drugs to expire in the following 6 months. Make a report and passes it to the supervisor
    • To performed any other task or and responsibilities assigned by you line manager Pharmacy Supervisor / Pharmacy Manager.

    You must meet the following qualifications:

    • Diploma or HND in Pharmacy or similar Field of study higher degree is a plus.
    • 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: HR, Administration and Finance.
    • Exceptional organization and planning skills, ability to manage and follow work plans
    • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, able to negotiate, influence, give effective feedback, be a team player.
    • Able to manage stress effectively, juggle competing priorities, balance various programmatic, logistic and team needs.
