    Project Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Project Officer supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering and fabrication projects.
    • The role focuses on coordination, documentation, progress tracking, and on-site support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with approved plans.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
    • Track project progress against approved timelines and milestones.
    • Support site activities including fabrication, installation, and inspections.
    • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and QA teams.
    • Monitor availability of materials, tools, and manpower on site.
    • Maintain project documentation, reports, drawings, and records.
    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
    • Identify potential delays or issues and escalate to the Project Manager promptly.
    • Support cost tracking and resource utilization monitoring.
    • Assist with site meetings, toolbox talks, and coordination meetings.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on site.
    • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers as directed.
    • Support project close-out activities including snag lists and documentation.
    • Carry out other project-related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Engineering or related discipline
    • 1 - 5 years experience in project coordination or site support
    • Good reporting, coordination, and communication skills.

    Project Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering engineering and fabrication projects from initiation to completion.
    • The role ensures projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards, while coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, production, and site installation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, coordinate, and manage assigned projects from kick-off to final handover.
    • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, procurement, production, and QA teams to ensure smooth execution.
    • Monitor project progress against milestones, budgets, and quality standards.
    • Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment in collaboration with procurement.
    • Supervise site activities, including fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
    • Identify project risks early and implement mitigation plans.
    • Manage project budgets, track costs, and control variations.
    • Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and clients.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements at all stages.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on project execution matters.
    • Manage contractors, vendors, and site personnel effectively.
    • Resolve project issues, delays, and conflicts promptly.
    • Ensure proper documentation, as-built drawings, and project close-out reports.
    • Support continuous improvement of project execution processes

    Requirements

    • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
    • Minimum of 6 years project management experience in engineering/fabrication projects
    • Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills
