    Financial Reporting Accountant

    Job Summary

    • As a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be required to prepare and review financial information, manage account records and process transactions.
    • You will also advise senior managers and internal departments on best practices to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

    Responsibilities

    • Assisting with the preparation of operating budgets, financial statements, and reports.
    • Processing requisition and other business forms, checking account balances, and approving purchases.
    • Advising other departments on best practices related to fiscal procedures.
    • Managing the month end process, including adjustments
    • Collaborating with internal departments to reconcile any accounting discrepancies.
    • Assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
    • Preparing Balance Sheet reconciliations (subsidiaries & group) for FRM review 
    • Compliance- To ensure that the company maintains optimal relationships with auditors and other professional consultants and is up to date in all statutory remittances (PAYE, pensions, VAT, WHT, Income tax, EDT)
    • Keep and document complete and accurate records of day-to-day financial transactions and events.
    • Managing account receivables and payables to ensure a positive cash flow objective is possible.
    • Monitor timelines across statutory payment requirements.
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms
