    Medical Lab Scientist (MLS)

    Our client, a Community Pharmacy requires the services of suitable candidates to fill the position below.

    Job Description

    • Perform quality control, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting protocols to ensure proper functioning of instruments, reagents, procedures, etc
    • Process specimens utilizing protocols and technical knowledge
    • Validate and communicate test results to Physicians.
    • Take inventory of laboratory supplies and ensure adequate stock levels for essential commodities.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science degree (BMLS).
    • Must be registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria
    • Must be accountable for the quality and integrity of laboratory services.
    • Must have effective Laboratory Quality Management System skills
    • Maintain the confidentiality of patients’ information.
    • Effective Laboratory data management and research skills.
    • 1+ years’ experience in similar role.

    Chief Operating Officer

    Job Description

    • Holds the Senior medical Administrative position in a medical center.
    • Responsible for a number of activities related to the delivery of medical care and clinical services such as Cost management, utilization review, quality assurance and medical protocol development.
    • A Family Physician that is a fellow with West African family physicians and a member of society of family physicians in Nigeria.
    • He/ she is involved in the activities of the Medical officers and consultants, including the recruiting and credentialing process.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Attend meetings.
    • Develop and manage a budget, including presenting monthly financial reports with the supports of the Hospital Account office.
    • Monitor quality and appropriateness of medical care (Doctors, nurses, laboratory, Pharmacy and Diagnostics).
    • Case file audit (Clinical).
    • Provide guidance and leadership for performance guidelines.
    • Develop policies and procedures.
    • Manage strategic development.
    • Oversee clinical peer review.
    • Oversee documentation and care planning.
    • Manage strategic development.
    • Handle Clinical patient complaints.
    • Address emergency issues.
    • Handles Clinical, Mortality and Morbidity meeting.
    • Support physician education.
    • Manage community relations.
    • Handle physicians’ behavior and impairment issues.
    • In charge of all aspect of patient management especially difficult cases.

    Requirements

    • Candidates must be Medical / Dental Practitioners registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria of not less than Seven (10) years post qualification.
    • Candidates must have 5 years of experience in a related field  and  a minimum of 3 years as head of department.
    • Post graduate qualification in public health, health financing, health management or related fields.
    • General surgeon with strong surgical and clinical skills.
    • Candidates must be of proven good character and integrity.

    Medical Lab Technician (MLT)

    Job Description

    • Collection and analysis of body fluids to conduct tests.
    • Set up, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
    • Taking note of abnormality in any patient and reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
    • Contribute to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers by following established standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

    Requirements

    • Must be a certified laboratory technician from a recognized school of Health Technology.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Must be able to multi-task.
    • Detail oriented. Ability to adapt easily and work under pressure (emergency).
    • Strong Laboratory data management skills.
    • Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year work experience in a similar role.
    • Maintains confidentiality of patient information.

    Job Description

    • Achievement of the assigned sales target within an assigned territory.
