    School Nurse

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a School Nurse that will be responsible for the healthcare of our students and staff members.
    • You will also be responsible for educating the students, teachers, and parents on prevention and healthy habits.
    • The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional, able to give the best nursing care with little supervision.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide basic healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness
    • Utilizing existing resources to provide appropriate healthcare to students and staff.
    • Promoting an optimal level of wellness among students and staff by providing preventative healthcare services.
    • Developing and implementing health plans for students with specific health needs.
    • Carrying out health assessments and screening for deficits in the vision, hearing, growth, and/or development of students.
    • Planning and implementing school health management protocols and procedures, especially for emergencies.

    Head of Security

    Essential Duties

    • Patrols assigned areas and ensures the safety of school campus, administrative buildings, and grounds; patrols campus/building and checks for unauthorized personnel; Checks for visitor and employee badges
    • Works closely and cooperatively with the school security department on campus security issues
    • Serves as a visible and active security presence on campus dealing with students who present challenges as these students may require supervision and direction to make positive choices to further their educational opportunities
    • Assists with monitoring and regulating student behavior on campus, in cafeterias, restrooms, parking lots, and other open areas
    • Assists with controlling disturbance or acts of defiance and requests assistance from school administration and/or school police when necessary

    • Assists the School Security Department in providing crowd control at extra-curricular activities and special events, arrival, and dismissal times.
    • Assists with security equipment, school safety assessments, metal detection equipment, etc

    • Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator.

    Requirements

    • Relevant Certification/License
    • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience required; A combination of experience and a college degree may be considered instead of 3 years of experience; Previous law enforcement or military experience preferred

    Business Development Manager

    Job Description

    • In conjunction with the Director be responsible for introducing the CLB – Olumawu University Pathways Programme (“the Programme”) and developing the business of the Programme primarily in Abuja and nationwide, attracting students and rapidly building the student population of the Programme,
    • With a clear understanding of the essence of the Programme, able to identify the ideal potential clientele for the Programme and market and promote the Programme to each target audience or market segment and grow the business of the Programme.
    • Continuously conduct research to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of the Programme in relation to the target market and possible competition in the local and global market, leading to recommended necessary action and steps,
    • Make visits and calls on various possible clientele groupings such as schools, parents associations, private school owners associations, banks, insurance companies, pension companies, and other companies, government and government agencies, embassies and high commissions, chambers of commerce, and similar trade or business associations, professional bodies and organizations, associations, and individuals with a view to selling the Programme and recruiting students,

    Academic Qualification

    • Relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage as well as knowledge of and contacts in the educational sector, in particular senior secondary school level.
