    Business Development Manager

    Job Description

    • In conjunction with the Director be responsible for introducing the CLB – Olumawu University Pathways Programme (“the Programme”) and developing the business of the Programme primarily in Abuja and nationwide, attracting students and rapidly building the student population of the Programme,
    • With a clear understanding of the essence of the Programme, able to identify the ideal potential clientele for the Programme and market and promote the Programme to each target audience or market segment and grow the business of the Programme.
    • Continuously conduct research to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of the Programme in relation to the target market and possible competition in the local and global market, leading to recommended necessary action and steps,
    • Make visits and calls on various possible clientele groupings such as schools, parents associations, private school owners associations, banks, insurance companies, pension companies, and other companies, government and government agencies, embassies and high commissions, chambers of commerce, and similar trade or business associations, professional bodies and organizations, associations, and individuals with a view to selling the Programme and recruiting students,
    • Make presentations as may be necessary to market and promote the Programme,
    • Maintain good and satisfactory long-term relationships with existing students, parents, guardians, sponsors, and stakeholders, while seeking to identify and make and build new contacts and clientele,
    • Identify and develop positive partnerships and collaborations,
    • Continuously build a wide database of contacts and networks of contacts,
    • Identify and recommend suitable and effective promotional and marketing material and literature,
    • Maintain a satisfactory and effective social media presence of the Programme,
    • Maintain good market intelligence and awareness of industry trends and practices,
    • Providing management with feedback and reports,
    • Liaison with the Centre for Law and Business (CLB) and other stakeholders within the Olumawu Group
    • of Schools for coordinated and uniform corporate activities, policies, processes, and procedures for the Programme,
    • Performing administrative functions to ensure the smooth and effective running and administration of the Programme as may be required including maintenance of proper records of all matters and financial transactions,
    • All matters related or incidental to the above functions and duties.

    Academic Qualification

    • An undergraduate Degree in any discipline but with interest and flair for business development marketing and promotion,
    • Relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage as well as knowledge of and contacts in the educational sector, in particular senior secondary school level.
    • About 5 (five) years of relevant working experience.
