    Maintenance Auditor

    Qualifications

    • HND or BSC certificate in Aeronautical Engineering or related field (professional certification is an added advantage).
    • Minimum of 3 years' work experience in maintenance and audit section of a commercial airline.
    • Proven experience in aircraft maintenance operations, with a strong understanding of aviation regulations.
    • Previous experience in auditing, quality assurance, or safety management within the aviation industry is highly desirable.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
    • Proficiency in using auditing tools and software.

    Job Role

    • Review maintenance procedures, documentation, and records to identify areas for potential improvement and compliance gaps.
    • Collaborate with the relevant departments to plan and schedule audits of aircraft maintenance activities.
    • Perform comprehensive audits of aircraft maintenance processes, procedures, and records to ensure compliance with industry regulations (Nig CAR), company policies, and best practices.
    • Verify the accuracy and completeness of maintenance documentation, including work orders, logbooks, and maintenance records.
    • Stay up to date with relevant aviation regulations (NCAA), guidelines, and industry standards to ensure audits are aligned with current requirements.
    • Identify potential safety hazards and operational risks through the audit process and provide recommendations for mitigating these risks.
    • Collaborate with the Safety Department to ensure the continuous improvement of safety practices within the maintenance operations.
    • Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and areas of improvement.
    • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of audit results, action plans, and follow-up activities.
    • Communicate audit results and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including Senior Management, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance & Engineering teams.
    • Collaborate with Maintenance & Engineering team to address any questions, concerns, or clarifications related to audit findings.

    Treasury Specialist

    Job Role

    The treasury specialist will be primarily responsible for the treasury functions of the company. The ideal candidate will have the responsibility for accurate recording, tracking, and positing of transactions, vendor, and account payable management.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Cash Management: Monitor and manage the company's cash position, including cash flow forecasting, optimizing cash utilization, and ensuring sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
    • Funding and Capital Structure: Assist in developing and implementing funding strategies to support the airline's capital requirements. Ensure compliance with debt covenants and monitor capital structure metrics.
    • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks faced by the airline, such as foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, commodity price risk, and credit risk. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including hedging programs and insurance coverage.
    • Investment Management: Oversee the airline's investment portfolio, maximizing returns while ensuring compliance with investment policies and regulatory requirements. Evaluate investment opportunities, monitor market conditions, and make recommendations for investment decisions.
    • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare financial reports including cash flow statements, liquidity reports, and debt-related disclosures. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
    • Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on relevant financial regulations, accounting standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
    • Treasury Systems and Processes: Utilize treasury management systems and other financial tools to streamline treasury operations, improve efficiency, and enhance controls.
    • Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, including banks, rating agencies, and investors.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years experience.
    • Knowledge of local accounting regulations & IFRS.
    • Managed banks, Local & FOREX payments; Maintains working-level relations with Banks.
    • Must be computer literate and technology savvy.
    • Must be a good communicator.
    • A high level of analytical and numerical skills is required.
    • Strong negotiating and relationship management skills are essential.
    • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
