    Children's & Junior Ministry Coordinator

    Job Summary

    • The children’s & Junior Ministry Coordinator will be responsible for designing programs that engage, guide, and mobilize the gifts of others (i.e children and teenagers), to develop a multi-faceted program that includes spiritual formation, education, mission, service, fun, and outreach.
    • The coordinator will collaborate with other staff, parents, and members of other ministry teams to achieve the sole purpose of leading all children/teenagers to a foundational authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties

    • Responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating comprehensive ministry programs that provide vision, direction, and support for both physical and spiritual maturity of children and teenagers ministry.
    • Coordinate the recruitment, training, support, and evaluation of volunteers in the children & youth ministry
    • Develop a systematic and intentional curriculum for children and teenagers that utilizes a creative variety of formats, settings, and timeframes.
    • Conduct a regular study of dynamic children & youth programs of other Christian congregations in our area to see what approaches might work best at TP.
    • Coordinate meetings with parents, leaders, and the pastorate in the congregation on a quarterly basis, or more frequently as needed.
    • Responsible for the development of a strategic growth plan and implementation for both ministries in spiritual, physical, and numeric values.
    • Additional responsibilities are at the discretion of the Senior Pastor.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for this Position

    • Requires a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in children and youth ministry
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in composing reports, correspondence and letters and in publishing e-newsletters and flyers in English, ability to develop and facilitate children and youth programs and confirmation sessions; ability to read and understand church documents and guidelines.
    • Ability to read, prepare, and manage budgets for major events and programs; prepare an annual budget for both ministries (i.e children and youth).
    • Knowledge of Church structure and culture, current trends, and issues within those cultures. Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to solve problems, make sound decisions, and deal with a variety of concrete variables.

    Chief Operation Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Chief Operation Officer is specifically responsible for assisting the Parish Pastor with strategic planning, goal setting, and ministry planning.
    • The COO ensures the church and staff stay in alignment with goals and objectives. Responsible for all operational functions of the church including capital projects, IT, human resources, facilities, Multimedia services, communications, and assessment of the day-to-day administrative affairs of the church.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties
    Strategic:

    • Oversee the development and implementation of the strategic plan as it relates to the church’s vision, mission, and core values.
    • Prime implementer of the strategy and plans of the church, based on the church vision. Provide overall direction for ministries and staff

    Administrative:

    • Manage all administrative functions including personnel, facilities, and communications including the annual budget process, and other assigned duties by the parish pastor
    • Supervise and develop staff through the development and strategic plan, job descriptions, and evaluation.
    • Attend meetings of the parish pastor and facilitate information flow

    Essential Job Functions

    • Support the ministry staff in the accomplishment of the church’s mission through ministry effectiveness evaluation, discernment, decision-making, and planning.
    • Facilitate the annual strategic planning process including evaluation of ministry performance; review of mission, vision, and core values; development of key objectives and tactic
    • Champion the development of infrastructure by all ministry and support areas that supports the healthy, long-term growth of the church
    • Develop and meet financial plans that fund the goals identified in the strategic plan.
    • Lead the ministry staff in the establishment and ongoing direction of ministries that effectively reach the church’s demographic through a strategic planning process.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the lead pastor.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or higher Degree from an accredited institution in Business, Management, Human Resource Management or another related field
    • 7 - 10 years work experience.
    • Fully-devoted follower of Jesus who agrees with the Church Statement of Faith
    • Minimum of ten years experience as a parish leader in a corporate business environment
    • Of utmost importance is a heart that is “wired for people” and thrives on nurturing and willingness and ability to serve Christ and His church.

    Head, Church Growth & Assimilation

    Job Summary

    • This key role will be responsible to create a strategic plan that provides a pathway to assimilate people (i.e new members and others) from their first steps in the church to intentional assimilation entry points that provide environments for retention, church numerical growth, spiritual growth, and transformation.
    • This position will recruit and create volunteer teams to be part of this pathway to assimilate others by equipping, teaching and discipleship.
    • Other responsibilities for this role will be to create a process that provides metrics to track people’s spiritual journey path.
    • This position requires strong leadership, team building/recruiting volunteers, administration, excellent people skills and an ability to cast vision in a fast-paced environment.
    • This is a highly innovative and vital role in the health of the Church.

    Key Responsibilities & Duties

    • Manage and Oversees the development of our assimilation system and processes to ensure all visitors and new members receive love and hospitality according to Have Life standard
    • Manage and Oversee the New Member Ministry (intake, in-reach components, new member’s orientation)
    • Ensure new members’ and visitor’s information is input into the church database, create and send written correspondence, make phone calls, and send emails
    • Develop innovative ways to connect with our new members and ensure the sheep are not lost or disconnected
    • Responsible for leading the effort to resource the church with volunteers by:
      • Identify areas needing volunteers
      • Develop an overall recruitment effort for volunteers
      • Oversee ministry intake process (gift/personality assessments, ministry recommendations, ministry interest forms, ministry-specific orientation)
    • Update new members’ profiles in the Church database with the completion of new members’ courses and which ministries they selected.
    • Provide training and technique enhancement sessions
    • Collaborate with all TP teams for continuity and alignment of the assimilation process ministry-wide, increase Stewardship and workforce growth.
    • Work closely with the Discipleship pastor, Key staff, project managers, and administrative support to accomplish the strategic plan.
    • Perform some pastoral functions and other duties as assigne.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
    • 5 - 10 years work experience.
