    Merchant Success Lead

    Description

    • Own merchant relationships to create a mutually beneficial partnership, constantly keeping your eyes open for expansion/growth opportunities
    • Manage our FAQs & Support channel
    • Manage our Support CRM platform and responsible for meeting the set KPIs
    • Ensure existing articles are correct and up to date
    • Create articles/tutorials to go up on Technical Guides
    • Prepare set up to record video versions of tutorials for technical guides
    • Setup category/collection for (technical & non-technical) guides on the support center
    • Publicly distributed and accessible cheat sheet for using Fincra
    • Creation of demos and sample projects with corresponding technical articles in collaboration with support engineers
    • Manage and provide leadership for the support team
    • Serve as a cross-functional leader across the company - to ensure a unified and seamless merchant experience.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the main point of contact for customer communications.
    • Swiftly respond to daily service inquiries from customers and manage these relationships with minimal supervision.
    • Develop a strong understanding of customer objectives.
    • Act as a thought leader, recommending areas of improvement, including opportunities for product adoption and the utilization of new platform features.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the business landscape and objectives, aligning these with customer deliverables.
    • Liaise with other departments to fulfill responsibilities, share information, and advocate for customer needs and requests.
    • Triage technical issues with development teams.

    Legal Analyst

    Responsibilities
    Your daily adventures will include:

    • This role will be responsible for ensuring that Fliqpay is fully compliant with all regulatory requirements such as CBN, CAC, NDIC etc
    • Reviewing contracts, manage regulatory and compliance-related services
    • Prepare and review agreements, MOU, and other related documents
    • In case of lawsuits, investigating the cause of the litigation, collecting evidence that is permissible in the court of law, and preparing all the groundwork required to fight the case
    • Ensuring that all the licenses, agreements and permits of the company are valid and renewing legal contracts before it lapses
    • Ensuring documentation of all legal documents of the company to maintain confidentiality
    • Assisting in Maintaining all corporate records and documenting all corporate decisions
    • Provide support/advice to the Risk Management team with regards to recovering debt and be in Charge or liaising with any Authorities.
    • Liaise with an outside legal firm in litigation cases and attend courts where required
    • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies
    • Day-to-day legal advice to internal stakeholders such as product, business development, tax, advertising, and local sales teams
    • Coordinate advice with cross-functional stakeholders, including members of the tax and public policy teams
    • Develop proactive and pragmatic legal solutions with the Fliqpay team to stay ahead of the curve
    • Review agreements to provide advice consistent with legal and regulatory obligations of Fliqpay in Africa
    • Stay up to date with legislative developments, anticipate legal and commercial risks and advise and assist the business to prepare for them
    • Draft and negotiate various agreements
    • Manage and coordinate external legal support.

    Business Operations Associate

    About The Role

    • For every trade agreed, a new product launched, the market entered, and the transaction completed, Operations enables the business to flow.
    • The Operations Associate Role at Fliqpay is great for anyone who loves working in a fast-paced environment and managing the day-to-day operations of a business that keeps it growing. You will support the Head of Operations in the daily management of the company through efficient back of house execution.
    • In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders within the company including Settlement Team Finance Manager, Product Manager, Treasurer, Compliance Officer, Head of Business.

    What You Will Be Doing Every Day

    • Manage designated operational processes as required, including
    • Treasury Ops: assist with pre & post-trade obligations eg, deal slip creation, follow-ups with our bank relationship managers
    • Compliance: ensuring customer database is up to date with KYC documents, and customers are onboard in due time
    • Product Ops: Channel Management, ensuring due settlement and ad hoc tasks
    • Support day-to-day business operations, ensuring timely and accurate outputs. Make adjustments as necessary to accommodate changing priorities, meet deadlines, and effectively organize tasks.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for other internal teams within the company around business operations
    • Assist in troubleshooting problems and issues as they relate to daily operational activities
    • Support the Head of Operations with the enforcement of company policies and standards.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to enable, support, and improve day-to-day business operations and processes with the goal of enhancing operations
    • Liaise with Customers for onboarding, Inquiries, and issue resolution where required.
    • Process partner and channel onboarding requirements
    • Assist with research for country strategies, including desk review of sector needs, stakeholder analysis, and review and editing of the strategy document
    • Synthesize data from multiple sources and revise annual office operations metric;
    • Research possible future program opportunities and new markets.
    • Compile and maintain data needed to effectively monitor and report the status of various operational projects.
    • Execute special projects, including developing strategies and tactics for implementation, monitoring of effectiveness, and making recommendations for improvements, to continuously improve our processes, product, and customer experience
    • Review existing business process and company policies to help enhance workflow and develop a stronger company
    • Prepare Meeting Reports & Ensure Proper Documentation of all Operational Processes.

    Settlement and Reconciliation Analyst

    About The Job

    • You’ll be responsible for designing and executing operational processes around how we settle payouts to merchants. We require you to manage daily reconciliation of settlements, and escalations to banking partners, liquidity providers, payment processors and more for any risk-related issues.
    • We expect you to be able to function effectively, creating playbooks where it previously didn’t exist to help build a solid foundation upon which we can power the cross-border payment infrastructure for financial institutions, fintechs and businesses making and receiving payments across Africa and globally.

    What You’ll Be Expected To Do At Fliqpay

    • Ensure daily reconciliation of all transactions and provide daily/weekly reconciliation and settlement reports.
    • Ensure the business is not exposed to any material risks emanating from reconciliation variances.
    • Develop models that assist in the reconciliation process to speed up reconciliation and provide accuracy.
    • Things can only scale by automation. We expect you to be very data-driven and coming up with ways we can automate as much of the processes involved in ensuring our financial health.
    • Liaise with partners such as exchanges, liquidity providers, bank partners, payment processors etc that contribute to possible variances on fiat and crypto reconciliation.
    • Document processes, procedures, resolution guides etc. for the settlement team.
    • Contribute to financial reporting and balance sheet management.
    • Manage internal and external controls for payment processes, escalate and resolve payment issues while working with Product, Business and Engineering team.
    • Liaise with partners (banks and processors) to ensure optimal cost structures and verify daily settlements.
    • Perform daily and weekly revenue recognition and cost optimization exercises.
    • Work with Compliance to design and maintain a process for reporting fraudulent activity to the appropriate regulatory authorities.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to develop risk mitigation strategies for payment processing and merchant management.
