Job Details
Management of all importer’s operations
Forecast and budget planning
Pricing and P&L
Monthly business reviews and analysis, while tracking performance
Marketing budget negotiations and management
Creation of marketing plans and ensure implementation of strategies and tactics
Liaise with supply/client managers for orders and shipments to importers
Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development
Collaborate with scientific communication unit to deploy education and scientific programs
Development of brand visibility, awareness programs
Liaise with local regulatory consultants to ensure all in country’s laws and regulations are abided by
Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships
Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are achieved
Training, coaching and mentoring
Gather market data and customer insights to provide recommendations to drive product distribution and market share.
Understand and communicate trends that may create opportunity for new products.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field. An MBA is an added advantage.
10+ years of experience in Sales specifically with medical devices in a healthcare or pharmaceutical distribution company.
Proven experience leading a sales team, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth in a Pharmaceutical Company.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and financial reports.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with major healthcare clients, including hospitals, clinics, and pharmaceutical distributors. This role focuses on promoting and selling medical device products, ensuring customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets, and driving the strategic development of accounts . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B Sales and Account management within the healthcare or medical device industry.
Job Details
Key account management of key institutions.
Achievement of set targets and objectives of each region
Execution of all marketing plans per region
Find out needs of customers, matching with available bouquet of products.
Trainings of medical personnel. Planning and execution of Programmes, workshops.
Support during surgical operations.
Ensure that terms and conditions of sales are adhered to
Prepare and make presentations to medical professionals, at least four presentations a month.
Build, maintain and sustain positive connections and working relationships with medical personnel and supporting administration, while continually seeking new vistas to be explored
Keep records of all contacts, customers, medical personnel and resource persons.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales and products reports
Gather market data and customer insights to provide recommendations to drive product distribution and market share.
Understand and communicate trends that may create opportunity for new products.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in sales and account management, specifically with medical devices in a pharmaceutical or healthcare distribution company.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts in a B2B healthcare environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently with strong organizational and time-management skills.
