The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for transforming operational and commercial data into actionable insights that drive inventory optimization, replenishment efficiency, fulfillment performance, logistics productivity, and overall supply chain excellence across BrandCo\\\\\\\'s retail and e-commerce operations.
The role will support end-to-end supply chain planning by analyzing inventory movements, demand trends, replenishment cycles, warehouse performance, transportation efficiency, store stock availability, and supplier performance. The analyst will provide data-driven recommendations that improve service levels, reduce stock-outs, minimize excess inventory, and optimize working capital. This role sits at the intersection of Inventory Planning, Warehousing, Distribution, Retail Operations, and Commercial Teams.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain supply chain dashboards and performance reports.
- Analyze inventory, warehouse, transportation, fulfillment, and store replenishment data.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports.
- Monitor trends, identify performance gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
- Automate operational reporting using Power BI, Excel, and D365.
- Build executive-level reports for management decision-making.
Inventory Optimization
- Monitor inventory health across warehouses and retail stores.
- Analyze stock cover, inventory turns, aged stock, dead stock, and excess inventory.
- Identify stock-out risks and recommend replenishment actions.
- Support inventory balancing across locations.
- Drive initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and stock availability.
- Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and shrinkage.
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Analyze historical sales, promotions, seasonality, and market trends.
- Support demand forecasting and replenishment planning.
- Measure forecast accuracy and forecast bias.
- Recommend inventory strategies for new product launches, campaigns, and peak trading periods.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Retail teams to align supply plans with sales objectives.
- Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) activities.
Store Replenishment Analytics
- Monitor store stock availability and replenishment effectiveness.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Support warehouse process optimization projects.
- Evaluate labor productivity and resource utilization.
Logistics & Distribution Analysis
- Track transportation costs and delivery performance.
- Analyze route efficiency and vehicle utilization.
- Monitor OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance.
- Evaluate 3PL and carrier performance.
- Recommend initiatives to reduce logistics cost per unit delivered.
- Support network optimization projects.
Process Improvement & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis on operational challenges.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
- Support automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Standardize supply chain reporting and KPI governance.
- Support operational excellence programs across the supply chain network

Store Replenishment Planning & Coordination
- Manage daily, weekly, and ad-hoc store replenishment activities.
- Review replenishment requirements generated through D365 and planning systems.
- Validate replenishment orders prior to release to warehouse operations.
- Prioritize replenishment based on sales trends, stock availability, and business requirements.
- Coordinate replenishment schedules with warehouse and store teams.
- Ensure all replenishment orders are processed within agreed SLAs.
Order Management & Release
- Monitor replenishment order queues and ensure timely processing.
- Review order completeness and inventory availability.
- Coordinate order allocation and release to fulfillment teams.
- Manage urgent and priority replenishment requests.
- Track order status from creation through delivery confirmation.
- Ensure accurate system updates throughout the replenishment lifecycle.
Dispatch & Transportation Coordination
- Plan daily dispatch schedules for all store deliveries.
- Coordinate with internal fleet and third-party logistics providers.
- Ensure vehicles are loaded according to dispatch schedules.
- Monitor vehicle utilization and route efficiency.
- Track deliveries and proactively resolve transportation issues.
- Ensure proof of delivery (POD) documentation is received and filed.
Store Delivery Performance Management
- Monitor store delivery performance against SLA targets.
- Track:
- On-Time Delivery (OTD)
- On-Time In-Full (OTIF)
- Fill Rate
- Delivery Lead Time
- Escalate delivery exceptions and delays.
- Coordinate recovery plans for missed deliveries.
- Maintain delivery performance dashboards.
Replenishment Monitoring & Exception Management
- Monitor replenishment execution from order creation to store receipt.
- Investigate:
- Partial deliveries
- Delivery delays
- Missing cartons
- Damaged stock
- Allocation failures
- Replenishment backlogs
- Coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all replenishment issues are resolved within SLA.
Inventory & Stock Availability Support
- Collaborate with Inventory and Planning teams to ensure stock availability.
- Monitor stock shortages affecting store replenishment.
- Identify high-risk stock-out situations.
- Recommend inventory balancing opportunities across locations.
- Support inventory deployment decisions during constrained supply situations.
Store Operations Support
Act as primary logistics contact for stores regarding replenishment matters.
- Support store teams with delivery queries and issue resolution.
- Manage emergency replenishment requests.
- Coordinate replenishment activities for:
- New store openings
- Promotions
- Seasonal launches
- Peak trading periods
- Product Retrieval to DCs
- Ensure stores receive accurate shipment information.
