    Insurance & Claims Officer

    Job Title: Insurance & Claims Officer

     

    Industry: FMCG

    Our client is looking to hire a Claims Officer that will assist with insurance claims and settle claims matters accurately and fairly based on the company's guidelines. The Claims Officer will collect and review the necessary documents for claims assessment, and ensure they are valid.

    Responsibilities:

    • Attend to claim investigations
    • Attend to enquiries of policyholders, claimants and intermediaries
    • Communicate claims decisions clearly
    • Prepare reports related to claim administration
    • Process claim transactions within the required benchmarks and authority limit
    • Provide quality service to all intermediaries and clients

    Requirements:

    • HND/B.Sc. degree
    • Minimum of 4 years work experience handling group insurance claims, group renewals etc.
    • Should have the knowledge to maintain a record of all premium’s payments and claims receipts.
    • Should have knowledge of managing all claim’s files.
    • Operating knowledge of WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK etc.

    Customer Service Supervisor (Team Lead)

    Customer Service Supervisor Responsibilities: (Male)
    Location : Abuja

    • Overseeing and assessing customer service staff activities, and providing them with regular performance-related feedback.
    • Strategizing and monitoring the daily activities of customer service operations.
    • Assisting customer service staff with duties where required.
    • Training staff in areas of customer service and company policies.
    • Managing cashier coverage and customer flow to ensure proficient customer service.
    • Monitoring and authenticating returns, exchanges, and voids.
    • Investigating and solving customer service complaints.
    • Assisting with the development and implementation of service policies, and explaining these to staff and customers.
    • Maintaining documentation pertaining to customer service department activities.
    • Performing additional duties where needed.

    Requirements:

    • B.sc/HND in Mass Communication or any similar discipline
    • 7+ years of work experience in a similar position.
    • Proficient knowledge of customer service, and standard office practices and procedures.
    • Proficient computer skills.
    • Proficient standard office equipment skills.
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong people skills.
    • Excellent phone etiquette.
    • Outstanding organizational skills.
