    IT Scrum Master

    Department: IT

    Job Purpose

    • The scrum master is the team role responsible for ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use.

    The responsibilities of this role include:

    • Clearing obstacles
    • Establishing an environment where the team can be effective
    • Addressing team dynamics
    • Ensuring a good relationship between the team and product owner as well as others outside the team
    • Protecting the team from outside interruptions and distractions.
    • Reports to: Technical Delivery Manager
    • Supervises: Functional Process Lead, Functional Business Analyst, Business Champion

    Key Role & Responsibilities

    • Scrum master is responsible to facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
    • Possesses conflict resolution, does conversation by focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty and respect.
    • Should be a friendly communicative person, because when team is moving fast in Agile, communication is the effective force which holds the team together.
    • Needs to forecast the numbers of deliverables possible in an iteration, which is based on evidence and reliable source.
    • Needs to be expert in estimation and planning. He knows how to create useful, reliable and practical plans for software development projects.
    • Should be a good coach in Agile practices. S/he can coach individuals and interactions over processes and tools.
    • Help team or individual to clarify goals and actions to achieve them.
    • Ability to shield his team from outside distractions and interferences.
    • Ability to ensure the correct use of scrum process.
    • Ability to track and remove impediments.
    • Scrum master is a servant first, who serves his team members before considering about himself.

    Duties

    • Facilitate his team for better creativity and tries to improve the efficiency of the development team.
    • Responsible for managing the scrum process with the coordination of scrum team in Agile methodology.
    • Responsible to remove the impediments for the scrum team.
    • Arranged daily stand-up meetings, facilitate meetings, schedule meetings, demo and decision-making processes in order to ensure quick inspection and proper use of adaptation process.
    • Helps product owner to make the product backlogs in good shape and make them ready for the next sprint.
    • Responsible to conduct retrospective meetings.
    • Organizes and facilitates the sprint planning meeting.
    • Acts as safeguard for his team.

    Required Experience & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Industrial Engineering
    • +5 years’ experience in IT project management in a business application environment
    • Certifications in any of the following: Prince2, Agile/Scrum, PMP
    • Demonstrable ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
    • Reporting and briefing skills to senior business stakeholders

    Technical:

    • Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban XP, etc.
    • Good skills to coach team how to follow agile scrum, which really works.
    • Understand the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.

    • Knowledge of other Agile approaches, like: Kanban, Crystal, FDD, XP, etc.

    IT Data Analyst

    Reports to: Scrum Master/Technical Delivery Manager
    Supervises: Functional Process Lead, Functional Business Analyst, Business Champion

    Job Purpose

    • Data Analyst interprets data and turns it into information which can offer ways to improve a business, thus affecting business decisions
    • Data Analysts gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends – as such a Data Analyst role is highly analytical in nature
    • Once data has been gathered and interpreted, the Data Analyst will report back what has been found in a comprehensive study to the wider business/relevant colleagues.

    BI Data Analyst:

    • Data Analysts often make recommendations about the methods and ways in which a company obtains and analyses data to improve quality and the efficiency of data systems.

    Data Gathering:

    • Engage with both technical and business users to understand business context.
    • Identify and explore structured and unstructured data effectively and efficiently in order to source answers to business questions.

    Job Purpose

    • The Project Manager will be expected to manage workstreams as part of a wider transformation programme to enable solution delivery and implementation of business systems.
    • The Project Manager will act as the main conduit between the programme and its customers, including any external partners, and manage their inputs and outputs to deliver change for the business

    Project Management:

    • Support the portfolio management decision process through the creation of project charters, scope documents, risk assessments and budgets
    • Lead efforts in developing work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports

    IT Business Analyst

    Reports to: Business Change Manager

    Job Purpose

    • Business Analyst will work within the STAR programme reporting to Business Change Manager; Primary role is to lead and generate process designs which are required to transform key operational areas and processes within IHS Towers as result of adopting a new tower management system which will transform how tower asset are managed with greater efficiency.
    • Business analyst will become a key part of the programme team working in conjunction with the Tower Management vendor to generate key documents leading to new processes, and produce key program artefacts linked with identifying gaps between the “To Be” and “As Is” systems.
    • Business Analyst will identify business problems, associated triggers, and business impacts, and elicit detailed business requirements, and identify potential organisational impact
    • Business analyst will direction from Business Change Manager Assist with Benefits realisation & tracking.
    • Business analyst will work alongside a variety of suppliers and vendors to identify alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommend new approaches during each phase where a change to working practice is identified.

    Key Role & Responsibilities

    • Business Analyst have the capability to use different tools and techniques for elicitation, analysis, documentation and managing requirements
    • Perform traceability of requirements.
    • Lead process design work for all processes linked / associated with STAR programme
    • Produce Gap Analysis & Change Migration Documents
    • Understand & obtain a working knowledge of the “To Be” tower system processes

    Experience:

    • Familiar and able to adapt to different methodology Waterfall & Agile.
    • Previous experience as a business analyst within Telecoms / Tower background.
    • Knowledge of Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain or Logistics.
    • Exposure to Benefit Realisations mapping and tracking.
    • Have some exposure to large scale transformation project / programme.
    • Have strong analytical and numerical skills.
    • Have strong innovative thinking and problem solving skills.
    • Experience of using Business Process Modelling methodologies to deliver process designs.
    • Have strong presentation and interpersonal skills

    Qualifications/ Certification:

    • Evidence of skilled based qualification relating to process analysis e.g CBAP/ ISEB BCS / Lean / BPM
